Making Minor Edits = Complete disaster + Wasting Credits

Ever since the functionality to perform minor cosmetic changes and text edits changed, my experience has turned into a huge waste of time and money. It handles the complex app development jobs or extensive editing very well - no issue there. I just edited the text in the eyebrow over hero, then hit the send button so that change is put through a credit sucking workflow (that was promised not to be) and then returns with a completely different change I never asked for. I TYPED THE CHANGE IN MYSELF and hit submit.

This post comes after my 4th interaction with lovable to change 7 words that I changed and submitted.

Making minor edits in the past was much easier and didn't waste my credits. The whole thing has turned into a money grab. Having AI process edits before applying them introduces mistakes - not big mistakes but the mistakes that undermine the overall credibility of the app - "if it can't get this right...."

Painting Felon

I’m working with a local painting company that has done well and created a solid business over the past 10 years. The name of the company is based on the story about the Prodigal Son - the son who is welcomed home by his father despite having made many mistakes in the past.

The owner recently added his story to the website. It included the word felon and my reaction wasn’t great. I insisted we remove just that one word from the article about him.

Did I overreact? Was this the right advice to give? The updated story still reveals his troubled past but also focuses on his recovery and the success of his painting business.

Any thoughts are welcomed.

Thank you.

Drug Court Probation end date was June 2nd.

I got pulled over tonight for the dumbest reason ever - a completely clear license plate cover on my car. Probation from drug court was is set to be completed in 11 days. I have been on probation "abatement" since January - meaning I have not had to check in with probation since then. The issue is that I was driving on a suspended out-of-state license for a DUI. I was not under the influence of anything. The cop ticketed me and allowed me to park my car and take an uber home. The car will get towed back to my house in the morning. I'm not sure exactly what I should do....ugh.
