Vent looks wet?

Vent looks wet?

This is to go with the post I made earlier, my bird let out a large watery dropping earlier this morning before his poop went back to normal, but his vent is wet and I'm really concerned. I'm a minor with no source of income and no avian vet near me, could someone help me and does anyone know what could be the cause? I saw him take a sip of water, go to eat, and then go back for another small sip before going to play. I'm really worried. This is the first time I've seen his vent look like this and I don't want to overthink anything but I'm keeping a very close eye on him and monitoring him.

Watery droppings from birds in the morning?

So, I've noticed my parakeets both release what looks like a big amount of water alongside their morning poop (it looks like a lot of water at least to me because they're so tiny), and then their droppings go back to normal right after. Is this normal or should I be worried? It happens right before I give them breakfast, which it doesn't take me long, and they immediately get to eating and playing and their droppings go back to normal. I'm just very concerned and am a major overthinker.

Bird chewing on my hair after I had spray gel in a day prior. Is it worrying?

I got a haircut yesterday and my birds adjusted to it pretty well, they got a bit scared at first with the change though. Today, when I was interacting with them, they jumped onto my head and began to chew on my hair and explore my hair, but yesterday I had a tiny bit of spray gel in my hair I hadn't washed out and now I'm worried they could've ingested it? It was a bit of curl gel, barely any was applied but now I'm really paranoid about my birds since I planned to shower later today but they already got into my hair. I'm definitely going to monitor them, but I just wanted to know if anyone had a parakeet chew on their hair after they left gel or spray in for a day and if their parakeet was fine. I'm just really concerned and worried for my babies.

How to stop male budgie hormonal behavior?

So, for context, my male budgie has never been aggressive before until recently, and summer is starting to come around. My birds have 12 hours of darkness every night, have a mostly pellet diet (I still need to introduce vegetables), and have acted this way before. I have one male and one female. My female acts fine, I haven't seen her show any hormonal behavior. My male budgie, on the other hand, is another story.

He has gotten territorial and a bit aggressive, he has been regurgitating food on the daily to my female budgie, he has been tapping his beak on many different surfaces (mainly his cage and perches), and he has been squawking and screeching more than usual. I did some research and apparently these are hormonal behaviors. I don't have a separate cage to separate them, I might limit the amount of seeds I give them even more to see if that brings it down, but I really need help because I do NOT want babies and I got bit this morning when trying to get a toy out of their cage so I could clean it😭🙏

Handfeeding got me bit today. Any reason why?

Posted this in the budgies subreddit, also going to post this here. Every morning I try and handfeed my babies some seeds before I give them pellets and then sprinkle in the rest of their seeds closer to the afternoon and they're normally very sweet. My female budgie will nibble on my hand and explore which is super cute. Today though, my male budgie didn't just nibble on my hand, he bit down HARD. I didn't scare him off my hand, I just managed to place him back on one of his perches and take the seeds away, and he seemed to get agitated at that? He normally never bites and is never mean to me, so I'm not quite sure what caused this change. Does anyone know what might make a budgie suddenly bite during hand feeding?

Still a bit worried about my baby

I came here a while ago about my budgies eye, took him to the vet, and the vet said he was just molting. His eye started to look better, but then it started getting worse again. He is still playful, loving, and as interactive as ever, and I've been giving them access to their bath almost daily since my female parakeet is starting to molt. I really am unsure what to do, I want to try and help him in any way I can but he still won't let me hold him, but he will hop on my hand for seeds. Has this happened to anyone when their bird has gone through a rough molt? I can't even carry him to the bathroom after running a hot shower in hopes that steam could help because he will not let me grab him

EDIT: Just found out the photo didn't upload so it's in the comments

My female bird gets vocal when I play Hamilton

I know I just posted here but now I just have to share this. I find this super cute because my boy is the one who is normally vocal, but whenever I listen to Hamilton and specifically Burr, Angelica, or Eliza are singing, my bird Hyacinth gets REALLY vocal. Like, little happy chirps and gets really playful. I am not sure if this means she likes it but it seems to somehow get her vocal meanwhile any other music I listen to does not. Has this happened to anyone else? Lol

Photos of my babies♡

Sharing these photos cuz they're the cutest of the bunch I have! They've taken to hand feeding extremely well and even ate out of my mom's hand! (They did scare her though when they jumped into her palm LOL)

The first photo is my bird Apollo eating from my hand today, the second photo was my bird Hyacinth when she had to go back into her cage because my mom's dog got in the room (she was NOT happy), the third one is my babies discovering a bath for the first time after I tried 3 different baths until we found the perfect one they would use, and the 4th one is from when I thought I lost them for 20 minutes after heading to the bathroom only to realize they hid under the blanket on top of their cage!

They are absolute sweethearts (other than when they bite me because they ate all the food in my hand and got mad when it ran out lol), and I'm so glad I got them!! They're getting some new toys as well either this weekend or next weekend, but it's going to be hard because I realized they get really attached to their toys but one of them they've ripped to shreds so it has to go lol. Still doing research into which vegetables are suitable, and if you have any recommendations on what to get them to try, please let me know!

Got told at the vet he might just be having a rough molt and to try and get him to bathe himself more to help loosen pin feathers. It spread to his beak and I'm still keeping a clear eye out, and I found a pretty big feather at the bottom of the cage today like it had fallen out on its own along w/ a few other small feathers. I'm not sure if I should let him have access to a bath daily, but he has had 2 so far since his vet visit and he's bathing himself and even letting me carry him on my hand with no problem. He's still as chipper as ever too. How do I make him more comfortable?

My birds need a vet visit, today they're supposed to go since that's when my father agreed to take me. I tried the lights off method, I tried treats in the carrier, nothing is working and I do not know what to do. All that happens is they fly around and get stressed and I'm really worried that I'll stress them out to much. I covered my hand with a towel and blanket as well and it hasn't worked. They're untamed as the title suggests and the last thing I want is to stress them out more and I have work later so I really don't have much time. Please help.

Asked in a parakeet subreddit for help last night because my dad said he'd take me and then proceeded to yell at me and say he was overreacting. He told me today he'd take me but when I asked him not to smoke in the car since the smoke could kill them, he scoffed and told me I was asking for too much. I'm not taking chances with my father and my mom won't be able to drive me since she refuses to drive long distances, not to mention I can't ask my sister because she and her boyfriend vape. If my brother had a car, I'd ask him. Please help me, I don't know what to do. My poor baby has been itching his eye against his perches and everything and it's bothering him. He still eats and plays and flies normally but he sneezes a few times a day, I'm just very worried.

Edit: I live in the USA in the south in a suburban neighborhood. I don't live near any places I could quickly get to with my bird.

Update: After trying continuously to try and talk to my dad, he finally said he'd take me to the vet this weekend so my bird can get checked. I'm going to continue to monitor over my bird and his health until then. Thank you everyone for your concerns and for trying to help. His eye hasn't seem to have gotten worse since this post was made, and he even started eating from my hand for the first time.
