$20 credit every future order (wishful thinking!)

For now, I'm filling out both my BA and HelloFresh menus, planning to cancel the BA orders until I see that the boxes are being successfully delivered to you in the East Coast. Meanwhile I notice that ALL my future orders include a $20 credit. Is that supposed to make me feel better about the chance that my box will show up, full and intact?

Bok Choy/Coleslaw mixes - no good

Two weeks in a row I've thrown out the "coleslaw" and/or "bok choy" mix sent with my meals. They are grey and slimy. I can't tell if these are different products or the same.. Can't identify anything in the mix as definitely bok choy.

I am getting my boxes on Friday, last week I cooked on Sunday and the mix was no good. This week, the mix was okay for the meal I cooked on Friday, but last night (Saturday) was no good. I reported both times and received my $2.25 refund.

Last night's meal also included a red cabbage mix that was fine.

If a product can't be consumed 24-48 hours after the box arrives it shouldn't be shipped.

This makes me sad because bok choy is my favorite green veggie for stir frying. The other meal company ships me whole baby bok choys, yum!

Chicken Cutlets - not the same!

This week's box came with two different packets of chicken cutlets, one "organic" (for Vietnamese Organic Chicken Noodle Soup) and one just "Chicken Cutlets". (Chicken & Honey Miso Broccoli Donburi). Same fat, sodium and carb content. Anxious to see how they compare.

Chicken Pho was tonight, excellent, and the best chicken we have had in a food box, wish they were all served this way. I cooked the breast separately, then sliced it into the bowl before adding the broth + veggies.

I should order the cutlets every week as a substitute for the "chicken pieces" we usually get in our boxes.
