Is food noise addiction?

My wife and I were discussing side effects and how food noise is gone/reduced.

As I was describing food noise to her she said that it sounds like what addicts describe.

Is that accurate? Having never been an addict, I don’t have a comparison.

Need Advice

Hey all, I posted a while ago about my dad's passing and how none of the kids knew about his situation until after he passed.

My stepmom has been handling the details of this as the executor of his estate. What he put in his Will and what he wanted was all the funds to go to her until she passed, then be given equally to all four kids.

However, the trust won't talk to her because she isn't my father.

As a result, she has to go through probate to be approved by the trust.

Her probate lawyer has told her that this means she and the four kids are legally obligated to split the payouts. She would receive 50%, and the rest would be divided among the four of us.

We are able to waive our rights to the funds and give it all to her.

My question is, are there any tax issues, legal issues, or anything else I need to be aware of before making any decision?

If it matters, my stepmother is in Florida, and I am in Pennsylvania.

Also, my dad was in the highest payout tier, with several aggravating factors.

My kid brought this home from his bio-dad’s house. What is this?

I am now halfway through my lease and I’ve got a couple questions.

  1. How early can I turn in the car without penalty? My lease paperwork doesn’t say anything beyond the exact day my lease ends.

  2. The paperwork says that I must return it with tires above 4/32 and the same tires that were originally put on there. How strict is that? The tires the car came with are super expensive and I’d prefer to put cheaper ones on but I don’t want to do that and then get billed for more tires.

My son will be a freshman in the fall and I want to get him gift cards for restaurants near campus.

What’s the best? And what is close?

Also, if you were an incoming freshman what store-specific gift cards would you have wanted?
