Been trying to get my hands on a hack rf device forever! I bought an H2M portapack on Ebay thinking the hack rf one came along with it and I was bummbed when I found out it didn’t.

Was fortunate enough to get a good deal on market place for one and the lad I got it from really needed the money cause he lost his job so win win!

Whats the first thing I should do with this bad boy to get me on the fast track to learning how it works and all it has to offer? My goal is to grow my skills and knowledge in the field of electronics!

Just as title says, Xbox cuts on then instantly off. The unit was very dusty, I cleaned out all of the dust, I applied new thermal paste to APU chip.

I checked for shorts on the 12v rails and there are no shorts. I did remove the power panel to test it and accidentally put the ribbon cable backwards cause how I had it oriented and of course got a little magic smoke. It still powers on briefly though then off and nothing smells are looks burned (high probable chance something still died)

As far as the main current issue what else can I check for shorts or damage? I removed the the ssd chip under the metal shield to check to see if that might’ve been causing the issue and no luck. I did also slightly chip off the of the black gate pieces that you use to realese the ribbon cable that connects the main board and secondary board. Its still FIRMLY inplace however and the issue was present before I accidentally broke the piece.

So I have a V1 modded switch with picofly. It was on firmware 6.2 before I modded it and then I upgraded through daybreak later. Not sure why but after the mod my right 3rd party joycon wont detect in CFW even though its reciving power from the rail. The stock joycon works fine on right rail just not 3rd party. The 3rd party joycon is confirmed working cause it works with my other switch and it works fine in hekate just not any cfw. Did I make a mistake whilst modding?

Im dealing with an issue where even though my pins are laid down nicely, Ill clean everything nicely, joints on the other side shiny and I STILL have been getting “No signal”. Each and every single pin is rock solid and doesn’t slide even the slightest. I checked continuity to make sure there wasn’t any micro bridges and no traces are connected to the gnd pins or themselves.

The original issue was from the ps5 falling and the pins inside hdmi port broke so I swapped it and cant seem to get pass this hurdle?

Is it just a goner?
