So there’s someone who joins my arena everyday going on almost a month. Every time he starts losing he disconnects mid match. I’ve been trying to give him a chance and just let him be apart of it, but I’m starting to think I may need to block him. It’s just so stupid. He disconnects and then joins again. And does it over and over. What would you do? Trying to be a nice guy here.

more often than not, someone who plays Mario is just so angry or toxic. Even if they aren’t T-bagging, you can tell in their playstyle. and if they can’t win they disconnect mid match. I don’t mind the character, but the playerbase online is awful. I don’t know if I’m in Mario hell or what. It’s just that my experience has always been this way with Mario online. Like yeah there’s other characters that are typically toxic, but for me, it’s a constant thing with Mario. Anyone else feel that way or is there another character that is like this for you?
So I did play xenoblade chronicles 2 before this announcement. And I did like that game. In the beginning I thought “whoa this might be cool.” Boy was I wrong. 😑
Would this be like another palutena? Or another aegis? Do you think she would have a broken moveset? I’d like another starfox rep, but at the same time i don’t want another situation where people just spam the B button and annoy the fuck out of everyone.
If you could add your own custom comments in the game for arenas what would you add? You aren’t restricted, you can say whatever you want.

Aren’t they supposed to be just for fun messing around? Like I get trying to win. I try to win too. But the outcome doesn’t really bother me because to me it’s just to goof off and try different characters. Laugh at yourself or others. I play these just for that reason. To just have fun. But every time I do, you have these people who show up to the arena and disconnect mid match just because they died. Guys it’s not that deep. It’s FFA. Just play and enjoy win or lose. Am I wrong?
Like obviously the devs saw pichu was broken, but then were like, have kazuya instead.

Steve is probably the most universally hated character overall.
Common complaints:
Minecart is oppressive.
Blocks fundamentally change how Smash is played.
Diamond rewards camping too much.
Zero-to-death combos.
Feels like you’re playing Steve’s game instead of Smash.

Sonic gets an enormous amount of hate, especially from competitive players.
Why:
Constant spin dash.
Hit-and-run gameplay.
Camping with a stock lead.
Matches feel slow and frustrating.

This one surprised me, but Aegis gets complained about constantly.
Reasons:
Extremely easy to pick up.
Very forgiving frame data.
Pyra kills incredibly early.
Mythra’s speed makes neutral feel oppressive.
Many users simply describe them as “carried.”

Min Min — giant disjointed arms, impossible to approach.
Samus — projectile spam and ledge trapping.
Young Link — arrow, boomerang, bomb loops.
Ness — PK Fire memes never die.
Kazuya — touch-of-death combos and comeback potential.
One interesting trend: casual/Quickplay players on r/SmashRage often complain most about Aegis, Samus, Young Link, and Ness, while competitive players tend to reserve the strongest hatred for Steve and Sonic because of how they dominate high-level play.
