Hello lovely nail people! 💕

I hope it's okay to ask a few beginner questions here because I'm completely new to the world of nails.

I'm a goldsmith and currently making a set of hand-engraved metal press-on nails as a surprise gift for a friend.

While researching I discovered that press-ons apparently come in different sizes... and now I'm panicking a little. 😅

My questions are:

How could I estimate my friend's nail sizes without asking her directly? She's very petite if that helps at all.

Also nails have different curves? How important is that? Do press-ons flex enough to adapt to the natural nail, or do they really need to match the curve closely? Mine obviously won't flex because they're metal.

And finally: what nail glue is the best? I made myself a short version (mostly because I couldn't resist trying them 😄), but the glue only lasted about two days. Removing it also left quite a thick, flaky residue.

Bei mir war letzten Samstag Hofflohmarkt. Ich bin in meinen Laden gekommen und in und vor meinem Mannhohen Fenster war ein Flohmarktstand (Decke mit rein paar Kinderschuhen und ein paar Sachen auf meinem Fensterbrett) aufgebaut. Ich habe mein Geschäft in einem Eckhaus, eine Goldschmiede mit offener Werkstatt. Mein gesamtes Geschäft ist nur knappe 20m2. Das Fenster ist kein Schaufenster aber direkt neben meinem Werktisch, der Zeitgleich auch Tresen ist, also mit Kundenverkehr und man kann in die Werkstatt (und teils auch den Verkaufsraum) schauen und vor allem hören. Wegen der Hitze habe ich sowohl die Eingangstür als auch mein Fenster durchgängig geöffnet, schließen ist keine Option zumal es auch toll ist für Kunden in den Laden zu schauen. Vorbeilaufende sind kein Problem, aber jemanden da über Stunden sitzen zu haben?

Ich habe die Dame mit ihrem Kind nach viel hin und her gebeten etwas zu rutschen wegen Datenschutz und so. Hab ihr auch Kaffee angeboten, damit sie nicht ums Haus rennen muss wo sie wohnt.

Sie ist gleich die halbe Gasse gerutscht, ich meinte sie soll halt einen Meter oder so rutschen halt weg vom Fenster oder die Seite wechseln.

Was hättet ihr gemacht?

Hi there 👋 i'm making jewellry and use a lot of instagram but just for pics because there is just no space in my workshop for any stands/tripods. Been thinking about getting an insta 360, but I dont know which one. A friend has a go3s and is super happy. I only film in pretty close range (30cm is probably the furthest) and i have either a lot of light or pretty much none at all. Been reading a lot about how ultra would be better because of the light but i'm not sure if its worth it if thats the only thing... so far i have been filming with either my phone or a camera. I also really like that the Go seems to be tiny.
