So around 13.00 or 1 pm I walk up to the woman restroom room with my cleaning cart. I knock on the door and say "cleaner is anyone in here?"

I hear "wait a fucking minute, I am on here." From the last stall. I responded with "take your time."

I then start by putting on gloves and wait for this lady (and I use that term loosely) because this 45 year old woman comes out her hair is pulled back and she is wearing yoga pants for her 12 year old daughter. And goes out of the bathroom laughing and says " I am getting you fired for not letting me have my alone time."

I smiled and said "have a very lovely day".

I then proceeded to walk in the bathroom. It smelled like a pig pen. She total shit on the floor and threw it on the pipes behind the toilet and wiped her poop covered hand all over the toilet paper roll which she didn't even use and that when my new manager came running in and she was like this woman just dragged a poop trail to the parking lot. My manager had me clean it, which is my job as a janitor but was very glad to hand me a $25 dollar gift card.

Sorry for the long rant, but this woman is apparently known to the police and she is known for doing this to public restrooms and is a known prostitute(not judging her on that) but yeah if that what she like to do in our bathroom. I am so grossed out

So the former morning janitor got fired because he was leaving an hour early and then asked his crack head girlfriend that he helped get hired there to walk up stairs and get his clocking in card and clocking him out an hour after he left.

This guy then saw me at my other job and tried to threaten me. I work at a bar whose clientele are mostly lawyers. So need less to say I now need a new morning porter and the store needs a new bagger

I was washing the floor up front, last night before we closed,when this little j1 summer worker who is from Jamaica and he asked her if she wanted to make a extra five dollars and she had to touch his dick while he was in line. She looks at me and is really uncomfortable and I say sir, if you want I will touch it with my fist. I am sure the 39 year old guy(me) is just as good as I am saying making my voice sound extra creepy and he says I am getting your manager. I was yeah let me call him for you.

My manager comes down stairs and sees the Jamaican girl crying and I tell him what this 50 year old guy calling me a cockblocker and when finds out what he did my manager threw him out.

So today my morning shift as a porter and I get in at 6 my manager gets in at 8.30. he is supposed to be here at 6 am. But I have already got the bathroom cleaned, the trash gathered, cardboard bail and made new bail as well as have the store supplies dropped off to each department. And he gets in and proceeds to tell me that we had no overnight floor cleaner so you have to go around the customer and wash the floor. I was like okay and needs to be done in an hour. I was like one guy to do the entire grocery store while expecting me to do all 24 aisle and a front end with customers walking on it. He goes you can always find another job and I can replace you in five minutes. I Ain't babysitting today he says. I went well guess your cleaning your own floors too and clocked out so far my phone has gone off three times from the store. Guess his job posting isn't going well.

For background I am a 39 year old man who has abuse in my background. My former girlfriend is 47 and is a widow who also has abuse in their background. I hope she gets the help she needs because she is beautiful and very caring.

So three month ago I went to a support group for adults who survived child sexual abuse and after a couple of months of going I meet this woman there.

She is a nice lady who is a widow and she is 8 years older than me. We seemed to hit it off really well. She then asked me out and I was thrilled. We like the same things gym, books, and trying different ipa beers.

But when we hit the gym together. I would do fifteen minutes of cardio and do a hour of weight lifting. She wanted me to do three hours on the exercise bike because I am too fat for being guy at 39, at first I was telling my self her husband passed away of a heart attack and she just trying to make sure I am healthy.

But that's when I noticed she was only eating a keto diet and was constantly saying I need to stop eating carbs when I would have eggs and bacon and toast with coffee when we go out for breakfast. All she would egg white and a slice of watermelon.

After six weeks of dating she told me I need to apply for a job that makes more money because you being a union janitor is not making enough money.

She then one night called me at 11.00 and wanted to go out for drinks and when I met her at the bar she was all over me saying that she can't wait to get me home. I was smiling after a few drinks we got back to her place before anything happened. She changed her mind and she said go sleep on the couch while I ended up sleeping on the couch.

That morning she wakes me up and says I am sorry but I want to but you are too fat. For the record I was at 213 and I am now at 195 the weight I was when I got out of the national guard. But get back to the point

She tells me when she was younger she weighed 150 after having her son and she now weighs 103 and she is concerned that dating a younger man will cause her to gain weight. Her son is 17 and lives with her during the weeks and the dad(not her husband who passed) the weekend.

After I explained that I care about her but I am not going to ever be a super six pack I tried I used steroids when I was younger and I learned to accept my body by making a little improvement and celebrate every victory no matter how small. She looked at me and kissed me and said you are great.

But after that I thought we just had a rough patch and we were very past it.

But last night I had to tell her we needed to stop seeing each other for a while. She looked at me and started saying that I need to be more active and stop talking to my female coworker when we would see them around town. She also told everyone in our mutual friends group about how I am too lazy and that is why I am fat. She also told me her own family is a bunch of trash and she is the only one who did things with her life. I want her to be happy but I don't want to be sad all the time. Am I in the wrong for asking to take a break or should I just be there and understand that after nine years and two failed boyfriends since her husband passed that I am not the man for her

So today we have been busy and I had three different departments all called out today and I was expected to pick up their slack and nepo baby manager (who is 26 and I am 39) saying that I should be grateful that we let you work here. This is my second part time job not my main job. I just walked away and this dumb fricking jackass said, "hey look just because your mom is an immigrant and you already work your full time job doesn't mean you get to move slower than usual chop chop." I just clocked and went to clear my locker and he came up to me and said "hey look sorry if the mom comment went too far, but I need this frozen load done now. My mom worked as a department manager so I know how hard it is for you people (poor people) to improve." At this point I yelled back " yeah while at least your mom could learn to swallow so I won't have to deal with you." Was I in the 100% wrong but this young man had been making rude and stupid comments the whole six weeks I have been at this job. So yeah I guess I am not going to be working there anymore. Sorry but maybe don't piss off people who are working while you are on your phone all day Snapchat your girlfriend. Sorry for the disgusting thing I responded with

So we have a private company that is waxing the floor. I was told to clear the produce section of the table and display. Well today I was moving a display full of spices. I didn't see the coconut on top of it as I grabbed it and the coconut hit my head. I was seeing stars lol. I am fine and had to fill out the funniest accident report

So today around 12.30 I was cleaning the women's restroom. I am about finished when I go for the mop to finish the floor. And these two old women walk past the open door that my janitorial cart is. I said ladies I am cleaning the bathroom and you can't be in here while I am cleaning. The first one a woman wearing a green sweatshirt with a picture of deers on it and grey sweatpants. Say watch the attitude. An says I guess you are going to make us the men's room. I was like if you want but there is a man in there or you can wait for five minutes for me to finish up the floor. She then yells that we are women and they shouldn't have men cleaning the women's room. An says she will get me fired for being a pervert.

Her friend in very thick glasses and with a British accent say you need to understand that we are bladder time. I smiled and laughed and said mam I will be done in a few minutes. She looked at me and said if I decide to pee in the hallway it's your fault.

I finished the restroom band and said it all yours. The two women were complaining to my manager and he said did he swear at you? and they said no. My manager said well the entire deli department heard you call him a pervert for doing his job. They said we will never shop for this company again.

For context, this is a new front end lead, she only worked for the company two years, and has been transferred to 5 different stores.

She told me and the other department heads she use to manage a Denny's. But found out she worked as waiter there.

My front end leads called me to the office to complain I stopped pushing carts to clean the restrooms. I said, but lady I am the head of the porter department. And yes you might have scheduled me as a cart guy. But if the restrooms are gross, I have to clean them. She then responded by calling the manager to the office and proceeded to try and tell me I can be fired for not doing what she wanted me to. The Manager and I looked at each other.

I then said lady I am in the union and second the only person who can fire or suspend me is the manager and that if I chose not to fight it. She said you are threatening to fight me.

At this point, the manager told me to just go back to work. Five minutes later she comes out of her office stumbling and yelling at me, that she will make sure I never work at a grocery store again.

I was like whatever and went back to pushing carts. For an hour then my manager comes outside and asks me what she said to me. I told him. He was like just try to ignore her.

At the end of the night, the store suddenly has three police officers come running in. My manager asked what the matter?

One of the police said that I threatened the front end, today with a knife. My manager and I explained to them she lied. The police believe me and my manager. They also asked if I wanted to press charges?. I said yes.

So my former lead for the front end is going to be arrested for filing a false report.

Why do stores get department heads like this?

For background information. I had to deal with this guy up in high school for bullying me and my friends. He 350lbs, and five foot two. Always made rascit comments. As a mixed race person I always choosed to be picked on by him, until I chocked him out in a high school wrestling match in gym class. After that it I am dei hire. He never grew up

I was shopping, at the grocery store I work at last night. It was my day off I was picking a custom made cake. For my grandmother's birthday. I was in a kilt, because my grandma requested it for her 99th birthday.

This pain in the neck said 'hey boy, you don't have legs for that dress." I just walked away. He then showed up in the bakeshop while I was picking up the cake. He looked at me and said " hey boy, isn't that cultural appropriation considering you're a halfbreed". My coworker told him to fuck off. He said I want a gift card. My manager told him to leave he sat his 350 lbs butt on the floor screaming he being picked on because he a white guy. I walked away paid for my cake.

My coworker said he threw a fit when three police officers took him out screaming heil Hitler. What the heck, is it a full moon yesterday?

Sorry for the rant but why do people want to miss treat people who are working a job.

My store staff bathroom is broken, and the croparate office refused to get it fixed because we would have to close the store for two days. I was using the bathroom and a guy was moaning the whole time and talking to him self while taking a poop. After I get done, and go to clean as the janitor. I walk into the restroom to clean it, and he sounds like he is jerking off. Guess what that is exactly what he was doing and when my manager came down to deal with it. I was told hey welcome to working with the public. Like you want to talk to me about why I hate this job. It's stuff like this. I am a part time janitor, not a police officer. My manager said I have an attitude problem, no you have a problem if blaming your employees for not wanting to work for minimum wage and expect them to care, because you don't care about our safety.

Got called in early today, and my manager took me into the office. I was like here we go another write up. Instead I was told from now on the management and I are the only one allowed to use the trash compactor due to the fact. That the morning porter threw in a thank god, it was an empty helium tank from our balloon filling station. I don't know if I would be dangerous or not. They also saw he threw away an entire box of good bananas. When he was talked to about it. He tried to blame me for it.

Like bro, you were caught on camera. My manager said we might transfer him to courtesy clerk
