This is my first time with companion pass. My mother is my companion for a flight next week. I have another flight next month which I want to be my husband as the companion. Could I booked the companion on the flight now as my mother to just have a placeholder seat next to me and then after our trip next week cancel her and change it to my husband?

I’m doing basically a trip just to go to Epcot September 13-15. we’re going to Epcot Monday September 14 and staying at boardwalk so we get extended evening hours. we’re also doing food and wine fest but I know September is slower. my main goal after the morning and food and wine is afternoon into extended evening riding guardians as much as possible. I know it’s sometimes still long lines but those who have been in September in the slower season with extended evening hours how long were the waits typically?
