Are none of them invited to Taylor Swift's wedding?

They must hate it that they're not the center of attention right now and are not attending the most famous wedding of the decade.

Just my two cents regarding Mer's lack of scenes with Jo since 2019...for over 7 years now...

  1. Whether something happened between Ellen and Camilla is not my problem nor do I care but it should not affect the scenes between the characters.
  2. The characters were developing a relationship beyond Jo just being Alex's wife; Mer was her mentor and really was starting to care about her: helped Jo during her depressive episode, etc.
  3. Alex leaves and the scenes stop. COVID hits and Camilla has no scenes with Ellen. OK FAIR. Ellen suffers from asthma and barely had scenes with the cast during that era hence the fake Meredith coma doll.
  4. COVID ends and the show resumes in its normal filming schedule. Crickets and no more scenes between Jo and Mer. The characters don't even mention each other anymore. It's very strange to me, considering how close the characters were becoming.
  5. If something did happen with the actors then it's just unprofessional to tarnish any potential scenes or storylines that the characters could have had. If nothing happened between the actors and they are in good terms, then IDK WTF the writers are doing.

Colored Contacts

Completely random but: lately I fell down a rabbit hole of colored lenses safety, especially for those that wanna use them daily with vision power for myopia. What I learned:

  1. The more opaque the lens is the more that it will change your eye color BUT at the cost of reducing oxygen flow into your cornea. Low oxygen can increase the risk of hypoxia and result in the cornea growing vessels cause it's deprived of oxygen. That's why lenses like Solotica, that massively lighten a person's eyes, are said to only be worn for 6-10 hours.

  2. Most colored contacts are made of traditional hydrogel that allows for less oxygen to get into the eye. That is the case with Solotica, That explains why most eye care professionals prefer to prescribe Air Optix colors, which are made of silicone hydrogel, allow for wayyy more oxygen to get into the eye (compared to Desio, Solotica, etc.) and can be worn for the whole day. That's why it's illegal in the USA to sell contacts without an eye specialist prescription. The eye doctor needs to examine your eye and approve that it's healthy for contact wear use.

  3. I am alarmed at the amount of influencers promoting non-FDA approved lenses on their pages; they may look pretty but at the cost of what? We don't know how the lens material was regulated, etc.

  4. Different lens types require different contact solution; that explains why many find them uncomfortable; because they are using the wrong solution for the material that they are made of.
