Guys only today's day is left, share your preference lists and help each other out in fixing it.
here's mineee, give suggestions and ask questions!!
How's the fest situation and college life? any colleges we should avoid?
reddit.comwhat could be the worst case scenario after BSMS?
i want to go to IISER, but my mother(single mother) is again and again saying that 5 saal baad pta nhi kya ho and stuff like I would not earn enough(I know that 5 saal baad ofc you can't earn enough and you have to do phd mba etc stuff) , she wants that I take admission into private mbbs(50 lakhs if I do get one in kerala), this amount will be the life saving of my mother(she will still earn for like 10 more years), I DO NOT WANT that she spends this huge amount on me. Please if someone could tell me the worst case possible after this considering that I'm ready to give my all in during the bsms. AND PLEASE DONT blindly say ki mbbs karlo just cause of your selfish needs ki you get a seat, I GENUINELY am interested in both research as well as mbbs, it's just that I'm in a dilemma because of my situation. please I'll be really grateful if someone could help
i have uploaded the pdf of my adhaar card, and not the scanned image of the physical copy, will that effect my admission???
will it affect my allotment? please tell someone if that is the case I'll email JAC, please🙏🏻
Can someone please give me the list of all pvt colleges of Kerala?
will be better if they are ranked. Thanks
How many of you are getting a GMC but have filled IISER counselling for backup?
If you have then PLEASE withdraw, the cutoff rank for round 1 of IISER this year has a difference of like 800 from the past year one, PLEASE if you are getting less than 27k rank in reneet then WITHDRAW from IISER counselling otherwise the people who are genuinely interested in IISER will have to keep waiting and you might waste their seats
BS-MS from IISER or MBBS from private, more deatils below.
myquals- 10th'2023: 98.6
12th'2025: 99
iat'26 - 3XXX
neet'26- 47xxx
cuet'26- 99.5 percentile (applied for du counselling too but will withdraw in the later rounds)
first of all before someone says to go acc to my interest, i rn feel that im inclined towards both mbbs and research and ready to give my all in in whatever i take. i have a single parent(my mother), shes ready to pay the fees for private med college if i do get one in kerala or karnataka(as they are the cheapest at around 50 lakhs), altho im insisting her that i dont want her to spend almost all the savings on my mbbs and that im okay with going to IISER, but since she does not see the stability in BS-MS degree, she is not understanding and im also not able to convince her about the stability after BS-MS.
Please suggest me what would be the best or more appropriate decision here?
will it be wise to spend such a big amount on private, or should i go with BSMS?
what could be the worst possible scenario that could happen after i complete my BSMS degree?
is there any better alternative career path which i should try exploring with current quals?
im just looking for some guidance and opinions so that i could decide more wisely and live with lesser regrets later on.
Thankyou.
