Home made banknotes of a fictionnal country
Hi there!
I'm sharing these banknotes I have designed. They are from a fictional country called Kamany, which I created many years ago.
The currency of Kamany is the pound, locally called lira, pfund or punts. 1 lira = about 66 eurocents.
These banknotes were released on the 14th of January 2025 to commemorate the country's bicentenary.
The obverse represents national birds within the coat of arms of Kamany. The reverse a national value represented by two mascots, inspired by local folkloric paper-made puppets, representing the three archangels of the coat of arms: Ikke and Rafa.
L. 5: polymer, Obverse: The common kestrel, the national bird of Kamany, 127X70mm, value of sharing
L.10: polymer, the mute swan, a symbol of exchange and communication, 135X70mm, value of exchanging
L.20: polymer, the tawny owl, a symbol of innovation, 142X70mm, value of innovation
L.50: cotton, the Dalmatian pelican, a symbol of opening, 150 X 70 mm, value of opening
L.100: cotton, The bearded vulture, a symbol of wilderness, 157 X 70 mm, value of nature
L. 200: cotton, The Eurasian woodcock, a symbol of education, 164 X 70 mm, value of education.
