Brings back so many memories of playing through the first game. What's your favorite chapter?

Loved Outlast 1, Whistleblower, and 2—honestly, is The Outlast Trials worth it if I don't like multiplayer and play mainly for story?

Hey guys,

I’ve played through Outlast 1, Whistleblower, and Outlast 2, and I genuinely love them. I'm a huge fan of heavy, linear, cinematic story-driven single-player horror.

Because of that, I'm pretty skeptical about The Outlast Trials. I don't have online friends, I don't really want to play with randoms, and session-based/co-op-focused games usually aren't my thing.

For those of you who loved the main single-player games and played Trials solo:

* Does Trials feel empty or disappointing story-wise compared to the numbered entries?

* Is playing it completely solo actually fun, or does it feel like a chore/frustrating because it was clearly built for a squad?

Trying to figure out if I should skip it or give it a shot. Would appreciate some honest opinions!
