I know that the LDS church's sabbath is Sunday and most of the day is spent in church and then in study. If you're not supposed to work on Sunday, why is it frowned upon to even go out to eat? Can't a day of rest include going for ice cream? What is the logic behind this and not spending money on Sundays?

I'm loving my new Passport, but the dinging is out of control. First when I turn it on I get the intro to Bette Midler's The Rose(once you hear it you can't unhear it), then it feels like everything I do warrants a chime. I googled if there's any way to stop it, especially the dings when I first turn it on, but have found nothing. I don't mind it for seatbelts or if someone is passing me when my blinker is on. Anyone else dinged out???
