Interesting bit about Near's character
In the volume 13 Near's emotional strength is shown to he very high, but he is also described as a sensitive person, which I've been thinking about.
I can partially understand how the two qualities can go together, if I was to account his emotional stuntedness as a defence mechanism. I understand how people can shut down emotionally, resulting in events you encounter not fazing you much, which is what I think Near's deal is.
I want to know what other people think though, and if there are any other possible explanations.

I saw Kabru on screen so I may finish the series?
I have started watching Dungeon Meshi. I am going to try to read it. The beginning is kinda slow but each time this personable guy with eyes bluer than ocean shows up along with his gaggle of friends that appears to be the B team I have to keep watching. Seeing them fills me with intrigue. If I met them in real life, I would follow them to see what they do (which wouldn't be difficult, since they would lead the way). The author managed to create a side character so interesting that it enriches their work. Am I alone in this? Will Kabru's existence make me feel anything?
