Uske baad I started to solve physics qsn tab mujhr meri aukaat pata chal geyi phir me concept ko wapas de karke qsn practice ki jab tak mere atma ko shanti nhi mili.
It was okaish.
Tbh I don't know why I love physics but physics hates me.
But I don't love chemistry but chemistry loves me.
"Ye rishta kya khela ta hay?" 🙄
One more qsn guys how did you overcome your silly mistake like mene option sahi sochke galat option me click kar diya. Andhi hu me 🥴

I'm 2023 passed out student gave neet score (550) couldn't give reneet bc I was hospitalised I had a surgery before neet exam still somehow scored good, was hoping for a gmc but after exam I couldn't give reneet bc of health issue.
Now I'm back in zero still in the loop.
Didn't take Math not because I wanted to but I was forced to not take math. My father's brother told my father that I shouldn't take a math bc it'll hamper my preparation bc apparently her daughter couldn't get gmc bc she took math.
When i told my father that if neet doesn't work out then at least I can have other option bc maths open a lot of career path. He told me you can't step on two boats at the same time. Focus on one goal
I was SO DUMB AND OBEDIENT. Me har baat sunti thi to sun liya now I'm here. Didn't give any other exam. Now I'm going to give cuet 2027 but I also have to give neet Or else they won't let me give cuet alone.
Why parents always think that whatever they think will be best for us?? They are be like cuet se kuch nhi hota hay. If you take normal course I'll not give any money other than the course bro wtf???
All of my friends are grad or about to grad. I'm 21 rn about to turn 22 in November didn't even start clg
I don't know I'm so fed up with everything.
TL;DR: Grew up in a difficult family environment, struggled academically after lockdown, spent years trying to crack NEET while dealing with family and health issues. Now I'm choosing my own path through CUET 2027 and possibly NEET. For the first time, I'm choosing myself and a peaceful life.
Sorry for the long a$$ post.
Read with patience.
I’m 21 right now, a 2023 12th-pass-out student, and I guess I just want to get some things off my chest.
I was an above-average student throughout my childhood. I used to score around 85% in exams, and this wasn’t some super lenient school either—it was a strict Mission School. I was usually somewhere between 5th–8th rank.
The funny thing is, I could never study consistently. I would study properly only a week before exams and somehow still score well. Those were the golden days lol.
Even for my 12th boards, I studied mostly before the exams and ended up with 64% overall.
But somewhere after lockdown, everything changed.
Growing up, I didn’t exactly have the most peaceful family environment. My father constantly compared me with himself—how he used to be first in his class, how well he used to perform, how he cracked the gov exam in 1st attempt, etc. If I got good marks, it was always kind of ignored. If I got bad marks, suddenly there were a LOT of things to say.
I never really had the dream of being rank 1. Maybe partly because I didn't want to spend all my energy trying to satisfy someone who would never be satisfied anyway.
I even remember that when he used to raise his hands at me, I would just stand there stubbornly instead of running away.
From the time I was old enough to understand things, I knew my parents fought a lot. Not normal little arguments—proper fights, sometimes to the point where my mom would faint or have panic-attack-like episodes.
I remember being around 5–6 when my mother once fainted and had to be admitted to the hospital.
There were nights when their arguments became so intense that I couldn't sleep. I'd keep my eyes closed, but if I accidentally fell asleep, I'd suddenly realize that my mother was getting ready to leave the house.
And I'd get up, crying and begging her not to go.
She tried to leave multiple times. I stopped her every time. I thought maybe it's normal for everyone. I'm just being too sensitive. Then as I grew up and looked at my friend's family I came to realised oh shitt!! It's only mine. I just started to hate the word FAMILY. I don't know why I don't have a special memory with them like wtf 🥴.
Looking back, I sometimes feel guilty because she would say she couldn't have a peaceful life because of me. A part of me still thinks, “Maybe I was selfish for trapping her in this hell.”
But I was literally a child.
I was scared that if she left, nobody would take care of me.
School and tuition were honestly my escape. Whenever I was outside the house, I felt relaxed.
I didn't have many friends either. Maybe 2–3 proper friends throughout my entire life. And sometimes it felt like I was just the backup therapist friend.
I literally used to sit on the last bench with my benchmate and my schoolbag for most of high school.
Then lockdown happened.
Because I didn't have many friends to begin with, I became extremely lonely. I ended up opening a fan page for some influencers. I learned video editing and photo editing through it, so at least something good came out of that phase.
Then I discovered books.
And oh boy.
That was my first time reading things other than school books. My entire life had basically been school → tuition → studies. No extracurricular activities, barely any outings with friends, no long gossip sessions, nothing.
I even stopped drawing, which used to be my favourite thing.
I felt like I had sacrificed almost everything.
Then, for the first time, I became completely obsessed with psychological thrillers. I read 100+ books, sometimes spending basically the entire day reading.
I also started writing stories and actually got a pretty good amount of views.
It was basically my escape.
And while I was doing all of that, 11th and 12th just... happened.
Barbaad. 💀
Around that time, NEET also became a burden.
One of my neighbourhood didis cracked NEET when I was in 9th, and my parents started saying things like, “Tera kab hoga? Sabka ho raha hai.”
I never had this mindset of “MBBS nahi hua toh life khatam.”
But I genuinely liked learning about the human body, so I thought medicine might actually be a good path for me.
Unfortunately, my 11th and 12th Physics and Chemistry basics were terrible. I had teachers who mostly made us memorize things instead of actually understanding the concepts.
Maths used to be my favourite subject in school, but I was told I couldn't “stand on two boats.” If I wanted NEET, I had to leave Maths because it would take too much practice and distract me.
So I did.
After 12th, I couldn't crack NEET in my first attempt.
I got scared and lied about it.
My father found out and got extremely angry. There were a lot of, let's say, “sweet” abusive words.
My mom cried, and honestly, seeing her cry broke my heart. She's an angel to me. ❤️
Eventually, I told her everything—how weak my Physics and Chemistry foundation was, how overwhelmed I felt, and how badly I had been struggling.
I decided to take a drop.
And honestly, that first drop went horribly.
There was constant pressure, arguments at home, old childhood memories getting triggered, and I was mentally exhausted. I remember crying almost every night.
I went through a really dark period for around 2–3 years.
I still don't know how I managed to get through some of those days. My mom was one of the biggest reasons I kept going.
I know there are people who have gone through much worse and still cracked NEET. And I know I also made mistakes. I shouldn't make this as excuse to not studying. But let me be honest I just became too exhausted to do anything.
There were days when I could have studied but instead I slept, cried, procrastinated, or did absolutely nothing.
I'm not trying to pretend I was completely helpless.
I made mistakes.
I was mentally exhausted for a very long time.
To be honest THIS IS MY 1ST TIME SAYING ALL OF THIS SOMEWHERE BUT MY LAST TIME TOO. I've never utter a word about my life to anyone face to face not even my friends. Bc there's no use of it. Let's say they will hear once, twice then they will get bored hearing same thing again and again. They can't do anything other than console and Sympathesise me. I couldn't even share my throghts with mom bc she's already dealing with a lot of things I'm the only one who's holding her up all together physically, mentally.
Then came my second drop.
I finally decided I was going to take studying seriously.
And then my mom got sick.
I spent 2–3 months taking care of her. Bc apparently acc to fathet he got sick for buying her meds continuously. While she was fighting with her life. Idk maybe if I was not present at that time she would die. I literally had to fight with him to get her hospitalised.
Once things got better, I tried starting again.
But I failed that time too.
And then, in the third year, everything was going smoothly then I had to go through surgery. Pichele saal mera on and off rhta tha physical health conditions. Har month me 2-3 baar fever.
Like these Another 4–5 months basically disappeared.
Now I'm at a point where I can get a private BDS seat for around ₹20–24 lakh.
My father agreed to it, but I ultimately said no.
Not because BDS is bad.
I just don't want to spend the next several years constantly hearing taunts about how much money was spent on me or feeling like I owe someone my entire life.
I also don't want to keep asking my father for more and more money.
I'm tired of constantly feeling like my entire worth depends on one exam.
So I'm planning to give CUET 2027.
Maybe I'll give NEET again too.
At this point, I genuinely don't care what happens as much as I used to.
If NEET works out, great.
If it doesn't, I'll probably go for something like BSc Biotechnology, BSc Agriculture, or another science-related path.
Sometimes I think I should have chosen that route much earlier.
My father still makes negative comments about my decision to give CUET, but this time I'm trying not to let that decide my future.
I always used to think maybe he'll change maybe now maybe if I be more polite more obidient but nothing worked out. I did everything he asked me to do. Now I want to choose myself.
I don't know where this road is going to take me.
Maybe I'll get into medicine. Maybe I'll be completely different field. Maybe I'll be judged for those 3 wasting yrs. I've been judged my entire life. So I don't think future judgments will affect me much. Kuch na ho sake to I'll be without ppl. I used to hate this loneliness now it became so peaceful kisiko khush karna nhi bass apne maan se karo sab kuch. I'll not blame anyone for anything it's my fault that I'm in this position I'm so fcked up rn.
But for the first time in a long time, I feel somewhat stable again.
And I think that's enough for now.
I just want a peaceful life, something I'm proud of, and the freedom to decide what I want to do with my own future.
Let's see where life takes me.
Myquals 12 with pcb. I come from a upper middle class family I don't have the money burden as such. I'll turn 22 in nov.
Please, seniors, I genuinely need some guidance. I’d really appreciate it if you could read this and share your experience. Please don’t be rude or dismissive—I’m genuinely confused and looking for practical advice.
I’m a 21-year-old student who passed Class 12 in 2023 with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology). Since then, I’ve been preparing for NEET, but unfortunately, I haven’t been able to get a GMC yet due to health issues.
During my first gap year, my physical health was quite poor, so I couldn’t prepare properly. This year as well, I had to undergo surgery, which resulted in another 3–4 month gap in my preparation.
Since I didn’t appear for any other entrance exams besides NEET, I couldn’t get admission into another college/course either. So, I’ve decided to take another gap year and prepare for NEET along with CUET.
I know MBBS is a very demanding field, and I’m trying to be realistic about my options. If I don’t get a GMC in my next attempt, I’m prepared to consider another course instead of continuing indefinitely.
This is where I need your advice.
I’m genuinely interested in biology and life sciences, but since I didn’t have Mathematics in Class 12, I know many fields such as engineering aren’t an option for me. I’ve researched a bit about biology-related careers, especially pharma and BSc Biotechnology, but I keep seeing people saying that there aren’t many jobs or that the career growth is limited after a BSc.
One option I’m considering is:
BSc Biotechnology → MBA → corporate/pharma/biotech industry
Is this actually a sensible path? Is there reasonable job stability and career growth after doing an MBA following biotechnology? Or would it be better to choose a different degree from the beginning?
I’d especially appreciate advice from people who are already studying or working in fields like:
- Biotechnology
- Microbiology
- Biochemistry
- Pharmacy
- Food/Nutrition science
- Life sciences
- Clinical research
- Healthcare management
- Pharma/biotech companies
I’d also like to know what you would consider a realistic Plan B for a PCB student in India who is interested in biology but doesn’t necessarily want to pursue MBBS forever.
I want to understand which courses actually have decent career prospects, what higher studies are usually required, and what the job market is realistically like.
Please share your honest experiences, but kindly keep the discussion respectful. I’m already quite confused about what direction to take, and genuine guidance would mean a lot.
Thank you to anyone who takes the time to help. ❤️
Ask me anything bc I feel so old mentally 21F no ana sanab question.
Just wanted to know when some of the boys say "meri mummy ne to sab kuch chor char ke papa ke sath aageya how can I leave her for my wife/partner. Me to hamesha mummy ki side lunga. Meri ma bhi t sab kuch akela sambhalti hai kabhi bhi complain nhi kari." To all the boys who say these kind of thing I know you love your mother so much you respect her. But did you really talked to her about her problems, struggles? Did you guys ever helped her doing cleaning, cooking. Did you ask her mom how are you feeling emotionally apke sath kya hua tha kisne apko hurt kiya. Pata kiya? Baat kiye ho?
Mene ek stand up comedian ko bolte huye suna tha HOW THE HECK YOU CAN FLEX ABOUT THIS BRO?? AREN'T YOU ALSO HURT? BECAUSE OF YOUR MOM'S Suffering
Agar apke ma ko apke ghar me kuch khe de from your family kabhi stand liya hay? Even though it's your father?
Let me tell you ab ye mat bolna I'm going to hire a maid jo aake sab kar degi nhi bhai paiso se isaan ki tuti hui dil nhi judti.
Jo ye sab excuse apne wife ko dete hay kam ke bahane ya fir fights me apne ma ke naam se compare karke are you just making that as excuse or did you really stand up for your mother too?
Dhyan dena mene SOME BOYS bola!!
What are your plans between pharma/physio/biotech.
21F right now. I used to be good student idk tbh how should I represent myself I mean I'm kind of backbencher topper student my friends used to call me that... Bc I used to just study 1 day before my exam arts ke liye and 1 week before science ke liye.and i used to score 90% and used to rank 7-8th to satisfy my parents mene jada utna mere life me kabhi kuch socha hi nhi ki mujhe aur accha karna chaiye bla bla.. So they saw my results each year decided they want to make me a doc. Not only my parents but also my dad side's of family and mom's side's of family I remember I was in 8th standard there was a known girl in locality she got selected in a med college my my dad mom grandparents told me " When are you going to med school sab ka ho rha hay" Their only sole goal was for me to crack neet in 1st attempt get 680 marks get a good college. I didn't pay much attention much at that time but every time they used to say you have to be a doc there is no other option. Everything was going smoothly in my academic year I used to get highest marks in tution and all teachers were pleased parents were also until lockdown. 10th to hua nhi marks 9th ke result ke hisab se aayi now 11th me mujhe kaha geya take pcb but math was my fav subject mere papa ne kahi se to suna ki math lene se neet ki preparation hamper ho jayega and I used to solve math har time to he told me u can't take math. Obv at that time I used to be the most Obedient girl ever to mene kuch na kheke le liya pcb. Uske baad meri life me problm aane lage my physics teacher didn't teach me basic math 11th 12th ka and fir mujhe bohot problem hone lagi thi ek bohot famous tution thi wha ke teacher se bhi mujhe samajh me nhi aya bc of the same reason and then guess what dad used to say isko ye sub dena hi nhi chaiye tha science nhi kar payegi lafda hua kuch din phir I found alakh sir ke vdo through one of my fiends. Phir physics thoda track pe ane lagi thik hone laga. Now my dad admit me into a big neet coaching center I'm not going to say the name u all know it. Wha ke teaching itne ghatiya the bio ko chod kar wo bhi zoology ko chod kar sab ghatiya faculty bhi khatarnaak. I'm from bengal board to language ke waja se aur bhi issues hone lagi acchi nhi geyi neet. Meanwhile mere papa ne kahi se to suna us neet coaching ke teacher se ki aap apni beti ko kahiye ki neet me focus kare boards me nhi now the thing neet and boards dono ke book alag he ncert nhi. And at that time i was in the worst phase of my life family issues chal rhe the i was almost depressed. I used to cry every night anxiety attacks....kisiko pata nhi batane ka bhi koi matlb nhi tha.....i think it became really v big msg do u want me to continue....
