The weird thing about P2P lending

Invested around 42k total, got back roughly 45k. Not bad. But what caught my attention was how different each loan looked individually. Some barely returned anything, some did okay, a couple did really well.

If I had judged the whole thing by just one or two loans I would have had a completely wrong picture.

I think that's the thing with P2P. You kind of have to let the portfolio do the talking, not individual loans. Took me a while to actually get that.

So kunal Shah joins WhatsApp, will it be good for indian startup ecosystem?

So whenever any Indian gets into top global leadership roles, I noticed that suddenly everybody start taking india more seriously for business.

Kunal has spent years building CRED and has been pretty active in startups, fintech, investing for years. So he has the understanding of consumer behaviour. If someone like that gets influence inside whatsapp, then india will become even more important startigicallly.

And we can see more capital flowing into india.

It could be huge
