This is for the Endless Legend 2 console demo.

Coming to this from a lot of AOW4, and realizing that this is a much more econ-focused game -- fun!

So, it seems the initial position of your city, camp, etc. is super important. What advice do you have on this? For example, do I settle in the "prime" hex, or next to it to allow my workshop or preferred district do that work for me? Please spare me from doing the maths myself and clue me into how the systems work.

More broadly, how do I think about these decisions? Thanks!

Since Nomads resettle and presumably gain a lot more grievances over time, are Nomad players just fated to go to war more frequently and have a bad time befriending nearby free cities?

With Conquerers I imagine this is more of a feature than a bug — but I suspect I’ll prefer Scavengers and would like to at least attempt to play more defensively.

EST. I typically play single-player Adventure/RPGs but would love to do some dedicated campaigns in multiplayer games that I've missed out on. For example:

Granblue Fantasy: Relink
Torchlight 2
Space Marine 2
Outriders
Borderlands series (I own some of these)

I'm open to other options but these are my preferences off the top of my head. Thanks for reading and feel free to DM!
