Should I file a claim?

My 2026 outlander that had a little over 5k miles got rented out to this Ukrainian guy. Ukraine license and all. He rented it for a week and then extended for another week and put over 1500 miles on it and even had to patch one of the tires that he popped while he had it. He brought it back with the scratches shown in the photos. I know turo would consider most of this normal wear and tear though which makes me question why I ever still do hosting every time someone does this to one of my cars. Should I try to settle with customer, file a claim even though the deductible is 1500$, or just leave it alone

Another Damage claim (TRX, Outlander Sport)

Red truck is my 2023 TRX. Black car with trunk photo is my 2026 Mitsubishi outlander sport. I’m not
Gonna lie I fought for over 2 months to get the claim on the TRX done and paid. The truck was mint and they kept trying to get me to measure the scratches saying if the scratches where less than 3 inches long, they where considered “normal wear and tear”. I threatened legal pursuit especially after finding out the renter had a DUI on there record and Turo let them rent out my 100k dollar TRX out. Not to mention the 2 photos I uploaded wasn’t even the half of it. The bed looked like they were scrapping metal, destroyed pretty much. Now today some lady dropped off my outlander sport and the line was popped out of the trunk cover thing and it was just all scratched up. I submitted for a claim and I decided to “settle with customer outside of insurance” and they actually did accept which is literally god sent. I had a customer recently deny paying back 4 hours of parking at the airport they got reimbursed even though they got the vehicle curbside. Young white couple too… they just decided to take it as an opportunity to get over on me for 23$ even though there was proof in the turo messages they got the Vehicle curbside and never paid for parking. Back to the claim thing, I think it’s one of those things where they play like any insurance company. They will fight tooth and nail to not actually have to pay out. Now we got to wait and see if they accept the invoice amount for the damages occurred and go from there. Anyone else having troubles like these as a host ?

Guest keeps disputing invoice

I’m wondering if any other host has ever had this issue. I put the parking location shortly after I dropped off the vehicle to the airport and I listed it as “curbside delivery” because I literally gave the customers the car curbside rather than having them grab it from parking where they pay for the parking ticket and then get reimbursed with there new policy. Turo told me since I did it literally 7 minutes after the trip start time they went ahead and reimbursed the customer for the full 4 hours of parking and took literally half of what I charge the customer for a whole day of renting… this has happened twice now.. both times they keep telling me it’s policy and I have to just deal with the loss even though the messages between me and the guest on the app show I met them curbside, meaning they got a 23$ refund for parking they never even paid for! The guest is an absolute nightmare and keeps disputing the invoice and turo isn’t helping since they think the refund is justified. Any suggestions?

[US FLORIDA] Solar Near Me LLC Scammed my Family!

Solar Near Me LLC is A SCAM!! A cousin of mine got solar panels from a super highly rated company here in Florida… later on some random company contacted him “Solar near me LLC” saying they found em through Publix permit records (permit poachers) and they under cut the price he had! He obviously went for it trying to get the most savings, but found out AFTER THE FACT that all they did was undercut the size (removed about 8 panels) of the system he originally was sold and now has a 200$+ POWER BILL ON TOP OF HIS SOLAR LOAN PAYMENT!! RUN AS FAR AS POSSIBLE! If this can even prevent one person from getting scammed I did the lords work!

THEY PROMISED A 0$ POWER BILL AND ITS STILL OVER 200-300$!!
