So I got my 2016 versys 650 back in October. Approx. 6 months ago this same mechanic told me that the head gasket was "weeping" but wasn't a huge deal if there were no puddles under the bike. I come back 6 months later because I'm going from tucson AZ to Yosemite National Park, approx 2000 miles round trip, and wanted another inspection just to be safe. Now they are saying my "front tire is dry rotting" and "the head gasket is leaking like crazy".

Here are the pics I asked for. What do you guys think? Is it worth fixing before my trip? Never once seen a puddle under my bike ever, and bike has been riding just fine...

Deathwish Sledge deck 8.5 with spitfire locked in 55mm 99a wheels and independent trucks. Im 5'10, wear 9.5 wide shoes, weighing 220lbs (hoping getting back into skating will help with the weight), did I do good on my board setup? I will primarily be skating in the blank smooth areas around my apartment attempting to succeed in my childhood dream of landing a kickflip.

Is this dark spot a radiator leak? Im new to vehicle maintenance and was giving my bike a look over and noticed this. As an AC tech it looks similar to a refrigerant leak to me.
