Hello everyone! If you were married in the Philippines, I need your advice.

My fiancé and I got engaged last year and we wanted to do a wedding in the Philippines in January 2028. We currently live in Hawaii. My fiancé's side are all coming from the US. I wanted to start the planning phase since I wanted to give ample time to our guests to prepare since this will be a destination wedding.

Here are some of my questions:

1. How did you manage guests coming from outside the Philippines? Did you arrange transport for them? Or did you just leave it to them to figure it out?

2. What is a reasonable budget? We're thinking of something decent for 100 pax but not grand.

3. Did you hire a planner/coordinator?

4. Where did you start with planning?

5. How did you find your vendors? Did you have to travel to the Philippines to look for them?

6. If you have anything you want to advice for us, please do so. Anything helps really.

I have to remind myself that this is a special day and it's important for us to enjoy and savor it. But right now that we're only a year and few months away from our target date and still no plan at all, it's starting to worry me. So I'll really appreciate any advice.

Just came to Costco. Was wondering why parking lot isn't crowded. Anybody know why? Didn't get the chance to ask since we didn't proceed as soon as we saw they were blocking the doors with carts and not letting people in.
