ETA: Yes, I know it began its run in the 1980s. The joke is that its set in the 24th century and the line "filmed in the 1980s" is sarcastic.

Had to share this definition with you all...
I work in government. We deal with these SovCits regularly. We've been working on a definition for these people to explain to friends and family what we deal with and we've settled on this:
Sovereign Citizens are the demented, low IQ, scratch butt then sniff fingers Draco Malfoys of the American legal terrain who truly believe they are rebels when they're just idiots who think a combination of words from the Constitution, Admiralty Law, and the Uniform Commercial Code can be combined into a magic spell so they don't have to register their cars with DMV.
Thoughts? Additions?
