Trustworthy conservation / environmental groups to donate towards?

Good morning, folks!

West Michigan resident here, and I'm interested in donating towards trustworthy conservation / environmental groups; U.S.-based at the very least, but the more local, the better. Just simply seeking to put my money towards causes I care for.

Any useful feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Filesystem root completely full. Cannot clear space / remove any files regardless of what method I try. Please help!

I have a Dell XPS 17 with Linux Mint 22.3 - Cinnamon 64-bit.

Yesterday, I tried installing a virtual home-lab via following the instructions on Git Hub. There was only one prerequisite - I needed to download Docker.

I don't know anything about Docker, and perhaps that's part of my problem.

After resolving a plethora of failures, I was finally able to successfully download and install Docker, thinking I was victorious.

However, that introduced a whole new problem: After downloading Docker, it immediately filled up my entire 2 TB hard drive, prompting a desktop notification saying I have 0 bytes remaining. The ring chart in Disk Usage Analyzer took forever to load and is completely red on every level.

So I try to free some space. But I've Googled, Reddited, YouTubed, Linux Forum'd, & AI'd everything. Every command I was told to paste into Terminal, or every route via GUI I navigate to, NEVER gets me anywhere because it always ends in some error.

"Can't unmount drive"

"Permission denied"

"Invalid argument"

"Path not recognized"

"Not enough space to perform action"

The Backup Tool doesn't even freaking open, but luckily I didn't have much anyway, and was able to copy important files over to a USB.

At this point, I'm just trying to nuke my laptop and start over completely, but I can't even download a new Linux Mint iso onto my flash drive because I don't have enough space.

Any useful feedback would be massively appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Former drummer here, getting back into it. Haven't owned a kit in ~ 16 years until now.

Here's my current work in progress setup: 7-piece Tama Superstar Classic with mostly Sabian XS cymbals, Zildjian hi-hat, & Pearl Eliminator drum pedal.

I still need to tune the heads better, muffle / stuff the kick drum with a bed spread, pillows, or whatever will work with that, and fix the alignment of the pedal.

Any helpful advice or suggestions are extremely appreciated.

Former drummer here, looking to get back into it. I have $2k to spend, and all I have are cymbals. Help!

Long time lurker, first time poster.

Haven't played in about 15-16 years, but looking to dive back in and play metal, rock, and jazz. All I have are ~ 8 cymbals from my old kit (crashes, ride, splash, china, & hi-hat). No stands, and absolutely nothing else.

The essentials I've identified are: shell kit, sticks, stands, seat, & pedal. Anything else I'm missing?

Suggestions / tips are highly welcome. Thanks in advance!

Lost phone at Oshtemo Meijer on West Main

It's a long shot, but I lost my black Google Pixel 10 at the Oshtemo Meijer on West Main Street today between 4 and 5pm. It has a few cracks on the front.

My fiancé and I have the Life360 app that shows where your phone is, and we see that it's there, but nothing granular than "grocery side". I've asked customer service, grocery stocking employees, vendors, and retraced my steps & checked the floors & shelves ~ 10 times, with no luck.

I'm going back tomorrow AM to look for it, but if any of you shop there and miraculously find it, please turn it into Lost & Found, or DM me. I work from home, and I literally cannot work (or practically anything for that matter) without it.

FWIW, I shop from the back and work my way up, and the last item I got before I knew it was missing was bread, which is Aisle 10 or 11. It should be in or near a double-digit aisle.

Thank you times a million in advance.

Green Kane doesn't exi-

Raw 2004. Tajiri defeated Kane via countout after spitting green mist into the eyes of the big red republican who, instead of getting back in the ring, chose to teach himself a John Cena taunt.

All hail the GLOAT - Greatest Loser of All Time. Or the Greenest Loser of All Time.

Nonetheless, Green Kane, everybody.

Hit a deer on the highway, but luckily no one was hurt, and the car still runs good. Thought part of the deer was underneath, so I started to tear, but it appears to be fiber / insulation material in the car, so I stopped.
