Deering his travels tails find an abandoned gun base not just he found a gun ranger armor he also find a broken laser gun he managed to repair it and enhance it a little bit

sadly he did not find necessary resources to give metal Sonic the necessary repairs and upgrades so he's still searching

Because of the armor he was wearing and the number seven that's written on his coat and because he has survived situations with ridiculously high odds so high nobody should have come out of it alive

He was given the nickname "lucky ranger"

(His laser pistol has two mode

Mode 1 lethal

Mode 2 non-lethal

Mode one is meant to destroy badnicks and robots

While mode 2 is for Fight criminals by electrocuting them

(However and sadly there comes tails has to kill "bad guys")

I think it would be better if I focus the story more about the time before tails had the necessary resources to build all that gadget like

The Mecha fist

The energy hammer

And so on

A time where he didn't even have to resources to rebuild or bring back metal to his full power

So metal will act more like someone that guide tails in missions

As much as I liked that tornado

my favorite one is to jet ankles

hopefully this is the final one

I'm also scrapping the "smoking cigarettes"

concept

I was also thinking of making his age around something like 12 or 13 instead of 15

Also yes he smokes cigarettes (and yes there are some characters at some point that told him to quit it but he won't listen)

eggman has finished working on mecha sonic mk 3 and it has successfully killed sonic

(Along with Amy and knuckles)

Because of this games like Sonic adventure 1 the advanced games and adventure 2 never happened

Obviously seeing another robot not just taking his title off as eggman greatest creation

But taking his purpose and being called by eggman the greatest failure metal Sonic betrayed eggman

And saved tails before he gets killed by mecha sonic mk3

Tails wanting revenge made a deal with metal

He will fix them up and upgrade him in return metal will train him help improve his combat skills so he could be ready when he faced eggman

After going through intense training with metal

Tails is now 15 years old and highly skilled in combat

Metal also teached him How to use hatred anger fury as fuel for determination

And also he has some few gadgets his main weapons are

His Canon blaster

And his mecha fists.
