Does anyone have photos of the room inside north. Brough way too much stuff freshman year so I need to narrow things down and having a rough idea of the space i'm getting would help a bunch. Please let me know. Thanks!
I’m a sophomore college student considering AFROTC, but I’m honestly not sure if it’s the right move for me and would appreciate some outside perspectives.
My long-term interests are aviation and engineering, especially things like flight test engineering, experimental aircraft, and working on advanced aerospace systems or becoming a pilot. One of the things that attracts me to the Air Force is the opportunity to gain leadership experience, earn a commission, and build a career in a field that’s pretty competitive on the civilian side.
At the same time, I’m hesitant because of the military commitment and how it could affect my personal life and relationships. I also wonder whether I’d be better off finishing college and applying through OTS later instead of committing to AFROTC now.
For people who joined AFROTC, what made you decide it was worth it? Based on my interests in aviation and engineering, does it sound like a good fit? What do you wish you knew before joining?
I’d appreciate any honest advice.
