DF54 or Starseeker E64? [$400]
Heyy so, I have an espresso machine and I've recently dabbled in V60 with a friend's Comandante C40 grinder, and I loved the clarity on those.
Unfortunately, my Blade R3 grinder muddies the coffee a LOT and I don't like that. I want to start tasting some better espresso and pour over.
The Starseeker line and the MiiCoffee line are the only good ones available where I live (Brazil) for a reasonable price.
The DF54 (MiiCoffee) caught my eye as a great all rounder on a budget, and with no other competition for clarity, I was going to settle with it.
Surprisingly though, literally this saturday, Starseeker made their E64 available in my country and now I'm torn
The MiiCoffee DF54 is around 434 USD~ and the Starseeker E64 is around 353 USD~ (including shipping and fees)
EDIT: Someone recomended the Shardor 64mm which goes for 324 USD~, I haven't looked too much into that one but if you guys have any opinion on it please let me know
I just can't get enough info on the E64 to make a decision.
I know I can probably exchange their burrs in the future, but I really just want to know if the quality is on par with the DF54, especially in terms of clarity which was the sole reason why I didn't want to get an E55 Pro
