ABS Light

My girlfriend's Twingo (1999 Matic) has a weird 'burning rubbery' smell according her. ABS light is also lit. Anybody has any clues from what it can be to pinpoint the problem. Looking for a cheap fix, money is thight.

Update: Found a plastic bag wrapped around the exhaust that currently is burning off. So source of the smell has been found! ABS light did go out as well after a planned emergency stop. What can be the cause if it sometimes comes on?

Acceptable Ciao?

Friend of a buddy said he could sandblast it. It was like 95% clean. Rust ate away some metal here and there nothing serious but it showed it was rusty before. And in some places there was still old paint. On top of that some previous owner did a hack job of clearing a tire that was too wide. so he damaged the fender and the part of the fender which is part of the frame.

Not sure what to do with the sandblasted parts, (normally not my standard) I painted it with a rattle can satin black. and build it from just an empty frame with parts I had lying around (hoarder...)

Just wondering what you guys think if of it. Do you think she is a 6 or higher?
