Lulzbot Mini 2 issues

So i have a decent amount of 3d printer experience, and my friend in another state got an old Lulzbot Mini 2 for free, so im helping him set it up on a call. We get it "working" but the filament is like soup, and im under the assumption that it is because the filament is so old (this is the white filament in the photos). I had him order another one (the black filament, and by the way the filament size for this machine is the 2.85mm size) and expected it to work, but what the heck is this?

My best guess is that the nozzle size in the settings is incorrect, but we dont really know what nozzle size it has. The lulzbot is so nonstandard, and we are using the recommended lulzbot slicer for it and what we think is the most common nozzle size for the machine which is 0.5mm. Ive never really dealt with nozzle sizes outside of 0.4, could someone tell if the actual nozzle size is greater or less than 0.5 based on this picture? Or if it is some other issue? Im a bit out of my depth here...

Is this salvageable or am I replacing the entire hotend? Prusa Mk3S

Long story short, I recently got a Prusa MK3S secondhand, and I had to replace the hotend. I got a cheap hotend replacement online, but it is also very possible that I am the one who did not assemble it correctly. I am assuming there is space in between the nozzle and the neck inside of the heatblock, causing filament to leak out of everything in the heatblock.

Is this salvageable, and if so, how? Or am I just going to have to replace the entire hotend again?

I know this is not technically a "Fix My Print" issue but I am hoping it is close enough to be applicable. If there is a subreddit that would make more sense for me to post this in, please let me know. Thank you!

Is a Mk3S still better than a Prusa Mini?

Hi! Long story short, I have a Prusa Mini that I just took out of storage after a few years and it is doing well. I firmware updated it, it has input shaping, and I am happy with it. I decided to look at used 3D printers just for fun as I am getting back into everything.

I found a used Mk3S for about $160 online, and I know that it is slightly older than a Prusa Mini, but back when I bought the Mini it was still considered a better printer. But now it does not have Input Shaper or anything like that (unless I upgrade it for another $270), and I believe has not gotten firmware updates or anything. Is it still worth it and a good printer? I know the Mk4 is very good, but would it be worth it to try and find a good deal and still pay over double for one vs the Mk3S, or is the Mk3S still good? Will it still print better than a current Mini?

Help with replacing a non-stick Wok

Hi! I want to buy a new Wok but I am unsure what kind to get, or if it is even necessary. TLDR: For reducing a large quantity of broth into sauce, does it make sense to get a stainless steel Wok, or is there a different type of pan/pot that would be better?

Long story short, I make a pan fried noodle dish with a wok, where I pan fry the noodles, then afterwards I put chicken, vegetables, and a broth in the pan. I let the broth reduce down into a sauce, all in the Wok (usually takes 20-40 minutes of boiling). I used to do this in a nonstick flat bottom wok, but nonstick did as nonstick does and is no longer good.

I looked a little into Woks and it seems like the recommended style is Carbon Steel, but also found out that you are not really supposed to cook sauces and whatnot in that material. Does it make sense to get a stainless steel Wok, or is that a waste of a wok? I know I am not really using Woks the way they are meant to be used, so I am open to an alternative. I do need something that is big and can hold a lot of stuff in it. For reference I have a 13in Stainless Steel Pan but the sides are not tall enough to hold everything before it reduces.
