My first cruiser bike, coming from touring and adventure bikes. Finally cooled off a smidge down here in Texas so I took it out for a spin. 2019 C50 with added back rest and National Cycle Switchblade full-size quick release windshield. Just found this sub reddit.
Anyone know how it is possible I was locked out with engine running? Was in my garage, hopped in, dropped key fob in center console, started it, got back out of car to let it warm up, I gently shut door (it did that half shut/latch thing), I vaguely remember a beep around then. I came back couple minutes later and I couldn't get in. I pushed door completely shut, still locked. Had to go get my spare key to unlock it. I have no idea how this happened. I tried to replicate it later but couldn't. Wasn't a problem in my garage but out on a road trip, could be bad unless I carry around spare key in my pocket at all times which i'm not going to do. I don't remember locking it at all when I got out. Any ideas? Thanks. 2025 outback.
