I recently installed a Shelly 1 Gen 4 relay with a reed switch on my dumb garage door opener, and while it works fine, I’d like it to show up in HomeKit as a garage door opener rather than an unconfigured switch. I’ve played around with a few of the Shelly plugins, but haven’t gotten them to work as well as Z2M. Any tips?
My partner and I just celebrated 10 years together, and as part of that, she got me a ‘99 RG7620 neck to build my first partscaster. I just ordered a Five Alarm custom faRG body in mahogany, routed for EMG HS pickups (with a battery compartment for 18v mod) and a LoPro Edge 7 bridge. Planning on a pearl/flake slime green finish, white pickups and black hardware.

I recently added a Sonoff MINI-ZBD dry relay to my dumb garage door, and every time I set it to Inching mode, it repeatedly opens and closes. I have looked and not found a simple response to how to configure this. I’m hoping to have it trigger for 0.5 seconds then default back to off. What am I missing?
Hello, relatively new/inexperienced user here, still no idea what I'm doing, but so far things seem to be working, except our loading times seem to be taking a major hit. I'm running AGH in a Docker/Portainer image on a RPI5 w/ 8 GB of RAM, and connected via ethernet to a Netgear RS280 router. Are there any usual suspects for this type of setup that could be bogging down our speed?
So I fired up the old soldering iron to install a treble bleed mod on my HSS SuperStrat, at the recommendation of EMG technical support. Turns out, it does make a difference when using more touch sensitive effects like ODs, and keeps things bright and detailed with the volume rolled down. I did melt part of the stock EMG pot to figure that out, but luckily I had an extra generic 25k pot just in case. I forget the values for the cap and resistor I used, but it is parallel wired.
Additionally, I decided to try out the SPC in the same guitar. Note for anyone curious, it absolutely does not make a single coil sound like a humbucker! It gives it the *presence* in the midrange of one, but it’s still very jangly, like a Tubescreamer set relatively clean. Great for adding girth to single note stuff, especially with harmonics, but for riffing it’s a little messy.
I recently installed two Reolink WiFi 4k spotlight cameras, and one of them is updating the thumbnail in the Home app, but not loading the stream. It is still recording because I can rewind, and I can still control the spotlight. Both cameras are configured the same, yet Scrypted keeps kicking back an error about how the codec on the one that is failing is h265 when it’s not. I’m assuming this has something to do with the recent HB updates, but I’m scratching my head now. Any advice?

We moved to a different state than most of our family and friends, and the family is joining us for our wedding in our new home state, with our original plan to have a family-only micro wedding, then return to our home state a few months later for our “friend wedding” party, which already includes friends traveling out of state to join us. Not a destination wedding per se, just people coming to celebrate with us. We have one couple of friends who live in our current area, and my fiancé wants to invite them to the family-only wedding. I can’t help but feel like this is an awkward add-on that can be easily avoided, not to mention disrespectful to any of our other friends who won’t be invited, but I feel like I’m not being listened to when I try to delicately say no, so as to not hurt anyone’s feelings, so what do I do?
EDIT: we talked it over, and I realized it’s not as big a deal as I was making it out to be, so I said it was fine if they want to come.
