Force Dispositions
Hey all, so everyone seems to jumped on the Skysplinter/Recon bandwagon, but what about the minority dispositions, how did they work out for you so far?

Hey everyone, in our local community there are a lot of events happening that are limited to 1k or 1,5k pts and over time I found out, or at least that's my feeling so far, that Drukhari tend to struggle at lower points. I reckon it's because our units are highly specialized, so it's not unlikely that you'll be facing a list for which you just don't have the right tools.
How are you treating your list going into such games? To me it seems you have to either dedicate into going full kill-y, or into scoring points (while choosing the respective Disposition).
Do you have any tips on how to build Drukhari for lower pts games?
I just realized, in 11th you have to declare Leaders in the list building process, so that means you can no longer attach Leaders to the newly created split units (as that happens during the game), is that right? No more meatshield and re-rolls for Malys.
Hey there, I've seen stressed several times that while list building (for Priority Assets), one should include a large tarpit unit for effective mission play.
You reckon a 10man unit of Wracks along a Heamonoculus can serve as such unit? I plan on running RSR with Little Coven, which grants -1 to W against higher S enhancement, along - 1 dmg strategem if needed.
In my mind, it works wonderfully against a many units, but at the same time I can imagine a lot of units with high volume of 1dmg attacks that will cleave through them easily (or with anti-infantry weapons). Can you think of a different unit better suited for this role?
Hey everyone, is it just me or do you also think that Reaper's Wager got the short end of the stick, as far as the 11th detachments go?
It has always been a well rounded detachment with decent rule and strategems, but it never really overshadowed other detachments or dominated meta, as far as I know. Reducing the DP cost and allowing mix and matching with little detachs would surely prove too strong with the universal benefits that RW brings to the table, but at the same time it feels like it is lagging behind now, compared to the new combinations. Units that benefit from RSR or SSA are now getting extra rules, strategems and enhancements, while RW armies remain basically the same (maybe with just a larger incentive for Talos spam due to changes to Fly).
The fact that its only available force disposition is Purge the Foe starts to seem like a serious disadvantage too, as it will be probably one of the worse mission packs for the many bodied Drukhari.
Am I missing something?
Hey everyone, just wanted to hear your opinion on enforced WYSIWYG in events, specifically what's the main reason for it and how can you actually enforce it in reality.
Just recently, quite a few people did not enter a popular competitive event in my area due to not having 100% WYSIWYG army, as was declared by the judges on Discord. Their reasoning was "We know it can be frustrating, but it is really important for the smoothness and the fairness of the play".
My question is - do competitive players really rely on visually checking the loadouts of enemy units mid play? And if so, does that really "smooth" the play? It just seems that if you have any doubts about opponent's truthfulness and you need more proof, why not just have a look at their list? There are so many weapons that seem almost indistinguishable from each other, do players really have that kind of an eye to spot the differences and not double check with their opponent?
At the end of the day, it's entirely okay for the organizers to enforce whatever rules they seem fit, it's just the logic behind it that eludes me. In my case for example, I do not have 4 Dark lances on my Scourges, and without resorting to 3D print that means buying 4 boxes of Scourges to have 1 such unit. That's rather frustrating.
Thanks for any insight.
Hey everyone, I'm about to face Custodes for the first time, would really appreciate any tips or experience you can share!
It's a 1500pts game, I'm going to attach my list at the end.
My strategy so far is to play cagey and utilize Scourges, Ravager, Archon/Kabb in Venom and granades to cripple his army as much as possible before engaging him in melee. He should be playing Lions detachment, so I'll have to screen accordingly to prevent cheeky DS from his split termies.
Would you say it's a good strategy against Custodes, to sit back for the first two/three turns while trying to do as much shooting as possible? There are no vehicles in his army, so I'm not that worried about a ranged clapback, although the terrain favors him I reckon (two objectives in No Man's can be safely held with units hidden behind a wall).
Thanks for any feedback.

Hey there, a pretty straitghforward question for you - how do you deal with Indirect fire as Drukhari? What's the strategy, do you keep as many units in DS as possible, do you play more aggresive, any other tips?
Also, from my understanding, the new Hidden rule in 11th edition should help us a great deal in surviving Indirect fire, can't come soon enough!
Hey everyone, what's your guess on the future costs of our current detachments, which ones could be combined you reckon?
From my understanding, the more unit specific the detachment is, the lower the cost. Is it okay to assume the Reaper's Wager won't be valued at 3 points then? At the same time the strategems are solid, as is the army wide re-rolls.
Which new detachments would you like to see? A Corsair themed one seems really plausible!
