Does anyone happen to know about this statue and what it is meant to be?

It’s at UWE Glenside campus (the old mental hospital) so could be something to do with that but I’m unsure. It does somewhat resemble the new statues at temple meads so maybe it’s todo with folklore.

The first time I saw it was at night through a garage door and let me tell you it gave me the creeps. I would love to know anything about it maybe so I can sleep at night lmao.
