Feather identification
Good evening, I found this feather in my yard. Seattle WA area. I google searched it and it said Great horned Owl or Barred Owl. Was hoping I could get a more definitive answer.

I’m about 6 weeks post op things are going well for me.
I’m 60 year old female, so this may not apply to our younger ppl, however, the first week home I was moving slowly. Also, I had general anesthesia for my surgery, which may make a difference. (IV fluids may have contributed to the increased urine output)
I purchased a package of adult disposable briefs aka Depends. The first few days they were a big help. I had what seemed like a lot of urine output, and waking up and trying to get to the restroom, with what felt like more then usual urgency, and I was worried I would fall.
The brief gave me the security that I would not have to rush and fall and also spare me the embarrassment of having an accident.
I only needed them for about 2 weeks.
Hope this helps someone.
First time tabby, my other two tuxedos were so laid back compared to Sassy Pants. Sassy pants knows no speed other than full head on running. (Think of how the old cartoons showed the character running so fast that the hind legs often swung out to the side because it was so fast) does not matter if food and water bowl get knocked over. Sassy does not meow…just a small baby peep noise. She was left by her mom at about 3 weeks. It was a huge rainstorm and sassy was alone and scared. Sassy likes to play bite , haven’t curbed that action just yet. Sassy is a lot of work, but I wouldn’t change her for the workd. She’s about 7 months old, and fixed, so hopefully she will settle down.
A veteran friend of mine is rated 100% PTSD. Lately he has needed more help with ADLs. He’s thinking of applying for the paid giver program. The question is: do the reasons one would need a caregiver have to be directly related to the service connected illness/injury? For example he has severe arthritis in his hands so dressing and bathing are an issue. But he’s not service connected for arthritis, only the PTSD. So I’m not sure if he’s eligible to apply. Any input would be appreciated.
