Tactical Movers - or - "How to Handle Waruder Without Really Trying"

The entire Tactical Mover line from Gamma through Agress has come a long way and there's very likely even more innovation to come.

It's really amazing to compare the humble beginnings with Gamma Versaulter as a basic upscale of the Maneuver Suit Gamma and the recent Agress Versaulter <Dark Star> which is more Daedalus Unit than Vers frame.

Which is your personal favorite Versaulter and why?

DA-120/-121/-122 Robot Base Grand Cross <Royal Defender>

Delivery courtesy of TOMY US. Arrived late in the day so I only had a few hours to unpack. I have ExHobby labels on the way courtesy of a good friend in Japan. (Uncut - and it will take a few hours to cut them! Ugh!)

Absolutely gorgeous in-hand. Physically, it's identical to DA-95/-100/-97/-98/-99/-108. The main difference being the color and the 3 Dianauts with equipped weapons (moulded in place.)

Interesting note - the packages and inserted booklets all have an English language sticker applied to comply with the impending July 8th US regulations regarding products that could be mistaken as children's toys (and subject to oversight and documentation requirements.) The applied stickers on the box and booklets state in plain English that it's "not a toy" and "not for children." So that's a relief for future releases. What's unknown is if the language is present plainly on imported versions from Japan retailers like AmiAmi or HobbyGenki.

Waruder: Neverending configurations and limitless potential

While there are only so many Waruder sets available, the main function of them unlike Diaclone machines is the endless, limitless combinations, to unleash them as-is or as as imposing and threatening as you can imagine and construct.

Waruder Behemoths! (DA-50, -75, -76, and -111/-112)

With the upcoming reissue of Dragonhead/Ghoulhead, I wanted to focus on showing off why they're must-have villains to oppose the heroic Dianauts.

And if you haven't seen the TakaraTomy Promo Videos for Diaclone (on their YouTube channel), check them out to see just why 1 Evol-Gigantor is more than enough to pose a threat to an entire base.

FOMO? TFC Hades (2.0) vs HasLab Liokaiser?

Which is "better"? Is either better than Iron Factory? I'm not here to answer that. I'm here to show Hades (2.0) alongside HasLab and let you evaluate and decide. I'll answer questions and (I hope) other with either, both, and/or Iron Factory will chime in as well.

What is a true gem to you may not have as much appeal to another collector. Each of us should tailor our own collections to OUR preferences. We are our best evaluators of what appeals to us. Don't pick up figures out of FOMO just because I have it or because another collector has it and loves it. Understand the figure and WHY it may or may not be your thing and then decide.

"You" have great tastes for YOUR collection/shelf/display. Trust that.

Comparison in the comments below.

DA-102 Battle Buffalo Mk.IV <D-Caliber> with Maneuver Suit Gamma Squad

Battle Buffalo will never cease to surprise me with versatility and capabilities. I've shared images before of mounting Fort Chambers to the Strike Legger bed, but now we show the "standard" loadout of Raid Chamber Land Type which house Maneuver Suits (the 2nd Gen Powered Suit models.) it can technically support up to 12 easily, or more if you add another set of "legs" to the rear of the Strike Legger.

Hasbro GIJoe Team revealed no 2026 HasLab; TF HasLab looking equally unlikely for 2026.

BMac (seen in the past on TF streams) is now heading up Classified after the departure of Lenny & Tony to Boss Fight Studios. He disclosed on Insta this evening that Classified will also not be doing a HasLab in 2026. It's looking like all flagship brands are skipping HasLab for 2026 for now, particularly Transformers.

While the economic conditions make a HasLab a likely flop, it also suggests that whatever may have been in the works was likely slated for an obscene pricepoint increase which is now infeasible under the economic depression in effect.

New Aftermarket Pickups

The HISS was too good of a price and still came in it's outer box, sealed. The other figures were on my checklist (especially SDCC Zartan) with a "if I find them" priority - except for BBQ, I already have the retro or secondary iterations of each.

Transformerland is absolutely outstanding for aftermarket/pre-owned stuff. The Transformers subreddit community introduced me to them back in 2018 and they've been my go-to for aftermarket stuff ever since.

The drawback is that they only update (new inventory) twice a week - Sat/Sun for Non-Transfomers and Wed/Thu for TFs. They have an email list they push when the new updates go live, which is how I caught these listings a couple of weeks back.
