I've currently got a Pixel 6 but it's on its last legs - it has restarted itself 5 times today and a few weeks ago it overheated and crashed for about 2 days.

I wanted to buy the Pixel 10, and Google were running a deal on it a few weeks ago for ~£530ish but I missed the boat ☹️ so now my options are pay £699 for the Pixel 10 (hard nope), buy the 10a for £409, or wait until the Pixel 11 comes out in August and see if I can get a good deal on the 10 then.

I guess I'm wondering if the 10 is actually that much better than the 10a, and if it's likely that the price on the 10 will drop when the 11 comes out? (I find it odd that the Pixel 9 costs more than the 10 at the moment, so worried that the price won't actually drop).

Should add, the main things I want out of a phone are good battery life, and a decent camera. I know the 10 has some AI features and an extra telephoto lens which aren't present on the 10a, but for the price difference I'm not sure whether it's actually worth it or not.
