Mama brought her babies! 🥺
One of my nightly visitors, I realized a month or two ago had enlarged nipples so I knew she had a litter somewhere. She finally brought them the other night and I hope she continues to bring them! I love them 💜🥺

Sorry for the slightly blurry photo but I was trying to take it quick while waiting at a red light. It was a slightly dark gray. Merlin was only identifying a Red Tailed Hawk but it isn’t like one I’ve seen.
It’s just outside Denver, CO in Aurora.
This beauty came the other day, which is what these photos are from. But today, he came again! So I wonder if he’ll be a common visitor. I also learned that he isn’t an oriole like I thought (I’m originally from WI where we would get them but don’t here in CO). For those like me, who don’t know who this is. It’s a Black-Headed Grosbeak! I also love my second photo because he was just patiently waiting for the northern flicker to finish so he could eat some of the peanuts
We’ve been getting a mating pair as regulars to our yard for a couple weeks (but also pretty sure they are the same pair as last year). Well today when I looked out there were 5 derps! So they must have told their friends that we have good seebs!
I do also get 3 collared doves but they tend to come at different times than my mourning doves
