How to stop giving off “gay vibes” as a man?

30M, so I have been told that I come across as gay even though I’m straight, I’m just a little goofy sometimes and quite soft spoken, iv been asked so many times if I’m into men but I just laugh and say no, but it’s becoming ridiculous and attracting men. How can I come off as more masculine? I just have a soft personality and it’s probably one of many reasons why I’m not attracting women.

Untouchable coworkers

So I’m not disclosing any major details but we have this really annoying coworker that just gets under everybody’s skin, a couple of other coworkers have left because they just couldn’t take it anymore, I would do the same but I am already on UC and if I just quit I wouldn’t get my UC and probably end up on the streets, for some reason this person is just unable to be sacked but it’s clear as day that they are causing others to leave and making the company put extra pressure and work onto remaining workers, is there anything I can do? If I did the same as them I would be sacked on the spot.

Hot round under rim 4 plate carry?

My fellow waiters/waitresses, have any of you got any tips on how to hand carry 4 plates at once (3 in one hand and 1 in the other)? The plates I carry are quite wide and the bottom rim is also round, they can also get a little wet from the food/water so they are slippy, I have been at this place for 2 years now and it’s starting to get the attention of the managers and they don’t care if they get rid of me for failing, many of my team can do it but me. Thanks.

Sacking threat

Now I don’t know if they were joking or not but we were gathered to a meeting and my boss asked for volunteers to work for free in a few days time, I said I didn’t hear properly but I heard a supervisor say to a colleague “you don’t have to do it” but when I was asked if I could I got “you did hear, you’re sacked” it sounded like a joke but they are not so fond of me for some reason, I have covered for others and asked for more shifts in the past…but I will not work for free when I am already being paid min wage (they’d pay me nothing if they could) can I get sacked for not doing unpaid work? And what can I do if I was sacked because of that?

Declaring my savings account troubled

So I had a 4 month bank statement review a week ago and tasked to declare my savings account (that I told them that I generally forget to do) but I cannot get a digital copy of it between the dates I’m asked for because Halifax are rubbish :), honestly thinking about just scrapping UC off because I only get like £15-30 a month because my employers keep getting wages wrong, but when I mention that to any work couch they look at me like they have no idea what day it is. But anyway what can I do to prevent getting into trouble?

Bank statement call appointment

So this is new to me, iv been on UC for at least a year now and they haven’t asked for any bank statements from me unit now. I gave them 3 months by accident (not a problem, they told me about it) then gave them 4 again. I have a savings account for emergencies and forgot to mention that. I’m just wondering what kind of phone call this will be about? as I’m a little nervous on the phone and prefer face to face meetings.

Another thing, I have this thing with my bank called “save the change” it gives back the rest of the change when I buy something for example give I buy something for £1.95 Halifax will give me 5p back and put it in my savings account do I need to declare that too? Thanks.

Ever had the urge to kiss your friend?

We’re strictly work colleagues and friends, but this was the last time I’d see them again and we hugged, that strange feeling like you want to kiss each other happened…but it didn’t happen 😂 wish we did but things are going on with our lives that we can’t become an item. In the spirit of pride month, this is a man on woman experience.

Does my employer know how much I am getting this month?

Hi, so it’s probably a yes or no kind of answer but every month when i am about to get my UC top up my wages seem to be less than usual from
Within the month, for example last week my wages were £175 but this week it’s £125 but I’m working the same hours, do employers know how much I am getting from UC each month from my deductions? iv started to cotton on.
