I hope Zodiac is an in universe what if?

Nobody really knows anything about this show yet, unless Erik and the crew have an inside scoop from Brandon Davis or someone else.

My hope is that Marvel realizes fans want genuinely engaging, story-first content. A detective-style premise like Zodiac would be the perfect vehicle to pull together Marvel’s B and C-list characters from the Thunderbolts and Defenders to stranded Young Avengers who otherwise get introduced and forgotten for years.

Instead of forcing a single lead, make it a true ensemble like Agents of Shield. Give the plot room to breathe, lean into what Erik calls the Russo brothers' "strange alchemy" by grouping two or three distinct characters per story arc, and let the series run long-term without rushing.

If the doomsday leak is real....

Skip if u wanna dont engage with this rumor.

Everyone's riding the Tobey wave right now, but I keep getting stuck on one thing. Why would Marvel write a scene that guts an entire specific fanbase in the first ten minutes?

Only answer I can come up with is that it's on purpose. They want you mad enough to be rooting for Doom or the MCU Avengers against the X-Men for the first half, while the other half of the audience is still on the X-Men's side. Bittersweet by design. Sounds genius on paper, but honestly I don't see it landing well.

Then there's the other camp hoping the leak is accurate except Tobey survives and joins the X-Men. That doesn't add up to me. If Tobey survived, that's the headline. That's what the leak would've been. You don't get a leak that's word for word correct on everything and then wrong on the single biggest beat in the scene.

So here's what I think possibly will happen. The opening is Deadpool escaping while Wolverine and Tobey's Spider-Man get left for dead. Then later in the movie you find out both of them actually made it, Doom pulled them out at the last second, and now they're on his side. Still heroes in their own heads, they just also believe these X-Men are living stolen lives.

We know this Wolverine already runs on the grief of his entire X-Men being dead. Though he healed, he can still see the pain of someone's loved ones being gone.

Anyone else think it plays out like this, or am I reaching?

Give this a shot on Aug 28!

So, as a long time looney tunes fan, ee trailer release inapudu full ga excite ayya, then I dug a bit down the rabbit hole to realise this movie went through production hell.

This movie was supposed to come out in 2023.

Warner bros ee movie teesi tax right off lo toseydam ankunaru, many in the west including directors, actors, animators and fans protested for years and warner bros movie ni sale ki pedte oka random studio bought it after a struggle.

Point enti ante, ee movie ostundi an mana degarai chala mandiki teliyapovachu, so trailer chudandi

https://youtu.be/H-43VeYGiPM?is=EdIDsQfVoktThUwR

If this is something that works for you anpiste, try watching it in theatre, this movie actually had a struggle and with more people watching it and if it is actually good, oka very fun franchise revival itadi.

My fun theory on this scene

Since everybody is theorizing about this, here are my two cents...

I think it would be very funny and adorable if the Captain America Thor sees is actually Loki in disguise, which is something Loki has done many times before (The Dark World and Avengers: Endgame during the 2012 sequence). We all know Thor is very good at recognizing Loki in disguise, so when Loki steps in disguised as Steve Rogers, Thor actually sees Loki and says, "Impossible..." because Loki died right in front of his eyes. By this point, Thor understands time travel but has no clue about the TVA.

Also, if you think about it, from TVA Loki's perspective, the last time Thor saw him, he was disguised as Steve.

And then Loki casually summons Mjolnir because, after everything he did at the TVA, he has essentially retconned himself into being noble enough to lift Mjolnir.

I feel this is too good to be true anyways so I am not hoping for it.

Edit: This theory made it to Erik Voss video, I know many have the same theory and this is not prolly his point of reference, but am happy he said he loved the idea! Big fan.

Odyssey at 1:1.43

So, munde cheptuna, this is not actual real imax, but its not liemax either.... the screen ratio is 1:1.43, ithe the print is GT Laser, not a 70 mm print running behind ( actual vi world lo oka few screens daake unai ani chadiva mari)

Anyhow... am lucky enough to have a screen of this ratio in city I live (its a kids museum screen, also showing big movies)

This is not a movie review.... but since the discussions around Imax, I just wanna say, aa screen lo bomma worth brothers... asala not missing what Nolan shot, aa immersive experience vere la undi, kappa la noru tersukuni chusina chala scenes. Just sharing my happiness and telling you guys, Chris meant it above benefits of watching it on the big screen.

Yep India lo ivi levu, but this is just beginning, within time, 100 percent Imax filmed movies inka ostai, and by that time, India might as well have such screens. Fingers crossed.

Normal in corporate world 😂

That made me chuckle, ithe I find this work hours in cinema thing over complication of proper structure. I think its same for Deepika then and Kajal now... you can have all the rules you want in the contract, as long as other person is comfortable to sign and work around it, else you can look for something that works for you.

Even in corporate, some companies give you off weekdays and make you work weekends in rotation basis, you are allowed to be not comfortable and take the chance but shouldn't pry on opportunity moving to somebody else (what Deepika did).

In this post what Kajal mentioned is absolutely fine, she should not be called out for wanting those things, and she shouldn't call out other employers who work in a different structure.

Simple

Anybody got insights on EPGC courses?

Bit of a long shot but figured I'd ask here since you'd actually know.

I'm a working professional trying to get into AI roles, and my current job is not taking me there. I am looking hard at KGP's online EPGC in Gen AI & Agentic AI (the one run with upGrad), and the curriculum looks solid on paper.

Mainly wondering — is it genuinely KGP faculty teaching it, or upgrad folks? And does the cert actually carry any weight with recruiters, or is it just the IIT name on a certificate?

It's ~2L so I'd rather not go in blind. Anyone done it or know someone who has? Honest takes welcome, even if it's "don't bother."

I am already a Masters graduate, so am not looking something major or life changing, but something that reasonably aids the career shift if I put in the work.

Thanks in advance
