Hey everyone, looking for some help. My buddy and I are from MA and want to experience a Penn St whiteout game and we’re trying to buy tickets and book stuff now. Looking for everyone’s thoughts on my gym splits, and the exercises within them. Out of everyone’s favorite or must have exercises, what am I missing? Also what’s your favorite compound exercise? Long story short I used to an avid gym rat, working on physique competing and in amazing shape. Been out of the gym for almost 5 years for the most part and am finally back in there 5 days a week. Really looking to fine tune my lifts to create the most efficient muscle building. (I created an easy lift schedule to get myself back into a rhythm and threw it into Chat GPT so I could get some tables to screenshot).
I’m sure some of you saw my previous post about receiving a Fenix 8 Pro from Amazon that ended up being just an empty box. Well things have gotten far crazier since I made that post… I’m going to break down the series of events in as few words as I can.
Called customer service and sent pictures, they agreed to send a replacement that would arrive before Wed at 5am. As of Wed at 4pm it hadn’t arrive so I called and they assured me it would be there by 10pm, it wasn’t…
Woke up Thursday morning and the status changed from awaiting shipment, to DELAYED.. I called and said how is this delayed if I can order one right now that says “same day delivery 5-10pm”. They said whenever the replacement shows you can refuse delivery and we’ll refund you. I want to be compensated for this and if I get a refund that’s squashed so I bought another one with same day delivery because no chance it could happen twice.
The driver shows up at my house at 830pm, I explain the situation and ask if he’ll stay while I open the box to make sure (pictured). It’s fucking EMPTY as you can see I’m showing him in the pic. He stays and calls Amazon, sends an email, gives me his number and email, then leaves. They have now put in a refund for the 2nd watch and I still have not received the delayed replacement. If I had to guess I’d say the entire shelf of 8 Pro’s is wiped out if I’m 0-2.
Why would I order from Amazon again after the first time? Because if I got a refund, it’s over, no compensation and they get away with these disastrous business practices. In my experience if I receive this watch I’m going to end up with a 50-100% discount for dealing with this bullshit (worth it).
I have since ordered one direct from Garmin that should be here within 7 days. If the replacement from Amazon arrives first and they give me a respectable discount I will keep it. Once again FUCK AMAZON.
Can’t believe this shit. Someone offered to buy my Fenix 7x Pro for $400, I said yes due to the 8 Pro being on sale. Bought one Amazon for $949, it arrived today, and immediately on opening and picking up the box, it felt way too light. Opened it and yup, no watch, no charger, completely empty. They’re sending me a new one but I find it wild that an Amazon employee ripped open the packaging and stole a $1000 watch. Assuming it won’t be hard to for them to find out who packed the box and review the footage.
UPDATE: Fuck Amazon, after they assured me of rush shipping yesterday it didn’t arrive last night, this morning, or tonight. Have spoken with 10-11 customer service reps and after telling them it stay doesn’t say shipped, I’ve had a few pretend they couldn’t hear me and hangup and a handful of virtual agents leave the chat randomly. Seems no one wants to deal with this beyond offering me a $10 promo credit. Scum company, I’ve been very patient and polite and all I’ve been told is it’s not in stock at the nearest fulfillment. I could cancel and order elsewhere but im petty at this point.
