Isn't this true?

Don't you guys think there are too much shit posting here(these are fun too I'm not denying that)

But when I look at the Genzpk sub there some people start a post about a controversial topics like Religion or Athesim and then in the comment section people just started fighting with each other and it's fun to rage bait people in the comments lol. I'm not necessarily saying that people should start posting only regarding these but controversies or fighting with each other are fun.

To those who read

Is it just me, or do you guys also read while listening to music?

I'm not talking about loud or lyrical music. I'm talking about slow, comforting instrumental music. I listen to it because, without it, I can barely focus on reading. I don't know why.

And it doesn't matter whether I'm reading fiction or nonfiction, I'll usually have something playing in the background. As weird as it may sound, I can't focus without it.

Are you like this too, or do you prefer reading in complete silence?

Why are mods deleting this?

So, somebody posted something yesterday questioning the atheist viewpoint. The questions they asked seemed genuine, and honestly, they were good questions. They deserved thoughtful answers.

However, before anyone could reply, the post was deleted by the moderators. I think that was the wrong decision. I thought this subreddit allowed freedom to discuss both atheist and religious views( as long as people weren't attacking or insulting anyone) Because of that, I don't think the post should have been removed.

I know this post might get deleted too, but I felt I should say it. That's just my opinion.

Edit: I'm saying this as a skeptical person cuz I'm not that religious honestly

Answer this question honestly

This question has been in my mind for quite some time.

Imagine three people one is born into a Muslim family, one into a Hindu family, and one into a Christian family. All three are good people. They sincerely follow the religion they were taught by their parents, pray according to their faith, and try to live moral lives. None of them seriously questions their beliefs because they trust the religion they were raised with.

If only the Muslim is rewarded with heaven while the other two are punished, how is that fair? Their religious beliefs were largely shaped by the families and environments they were born into something they did not choose. Non Muslim can easily raise this question easily on God that if we were born in Muslim household we will be in heaven now? What's the reason for this...did God really wanted them in hell?

This question is only to the people who are devoted religious people here and have studied religion a bit.

Actually I wanted to ask this question in Pakistan twenties sub...idk why but it wasn't uploading there.

Any other sub I should post this on?

Rereading Crime and Punishment

I’ve already read Crime and Punishment and now I want to reread it. The first time, I read the Constance Garnett translation. Which translation should I read this time? By the way, I really enjoyed Garnett’s translation.

just a question to know you

I asked this question in Pakistan Twenties, and I'm going to ask it here too.

Where do you guys stand when it comes to your beliefs? By that, I mean are you guys religious, atheist, or agnostic? (I know this sub has a pretty bad reputation in PakistanTwenties, lol.)

Only answer if you're comfortable sharing. I'm not here to judge anyone, because I'm struggling with these questions myself.

Hope you're all having a great time.

Do you guys now sub like this...

Basically, I'm looking for a subreddit where people debate different religion respectfully. I love discussions like that.

The more I struggled with my faith(this crisis is now increasing day by day), the more I wanted to learn about different religions, and now it's become an obsession.

Idk I'm not looking for anything I just love learning to argue with people (and this is also important for my uni class...cuz these debates happen more often now)

Any recs would be really appreciated.
