3 Weeks, 2500 Mile Roadtrip with my Taycan 4S CT

Just finished a 3-week, 2,500-mile road trip with my son in my 2023 Taycan Cross Turismo 4S. I'd never taken it on a proper long-distance adventure before, but the car performed flawlessly. Special thanks to Peachstate PCA for being so welcoming to the only EV among some fantastic ICE Porsches.

My son and I had an amazing time, and I'm incredibly grateful for the chance to share experiences like these together. He returned home with a newfound appreciation for Porsches and spirited driving.

Trip highlights:
- Survived 650 miles (Florida to North Carolina) on I-75 through some truly insane weather, while sacrificing a piece of plastic trim to the highway gods.
- Backpacked 50 miles of the Appalachian Trail, leaving the car at a trailhead for a week and hoping for the best.
- Met up with my best friend and his 911 Turbo for an unforgettable drive through Lookout Mountain, GA / TN with Peachstate PCA.
- Tackled the Tail of the Dragon on the way to dropping my son off at summer camp.
- Spent a week mountain biking around Chattanooga, where the local Porsche dealership rushed a replacement trim piece so the car wouldn't look quite so janky when I picked my son up.
