🌽 E85 🌽 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 L87

Haven’t seen much people do E85 on the 6.2 so, here’s mine! Just got it installed, everything seems to be fine! 91 in my area is around $6.50 and E85 is $2.09 I think it’s worth it! Anybody else running E85 on the L87?

Long Due Update! Wheels and Suspension done!

After a couple of months since my last post, I finally received my truck back from the dealership! It was such a hassle with them and my extended warranty TOTAL NIGHTMARE! I had brought it in back in March for a ticking noise and was repeatedly told it was deemed “normal”. After multiple attempts to get them to actually inspect it, I told them to compare the noise to another truck on the lot and that’s when they realized it wasn’t normal. They opened it up and found that the camshafts and lifters were scored so, they decided that’s it all it needed and told my extended warranty it does it need an engine. I received the truck back a maybe 2 months later and guess what… it’s still ticking. I drove it 300 miles until it decided to die completely on the highway. Had to take it back and they first tried to blame it on me because I had switched the battery and I “damaged” the fuse box that sits on top of it. Turns out they replace it and it still doesn’t start. They tear apart the engine and find what? A SPUN BEARING. Idiots. It was a nightmare going back and forth with the dealer and the extended warranty to get them to cover the cost. The dealer and extended warranty company pointing at each other and I’m just in the middle like… Anyways, months pass by and I was able to get them down to having me pay $2k out of pocket just to get my truck back. They replaced the engine and finally got it back in August! Sorry for the long paragraph but, here’s the wheels and suspension on it now!

2020 GMC Sierra Ticking Update

Around 50 days ago, I had posted an update on why my truck was ticking. Turns out they found some damage in the top-end. Camshaft, lifters, valves, etc etc… Total bill came out to around $13k, good thing is that my extended warranty covered everything. I picked it up on April 30th so excited that I was finally able to use my truck! Tell me why I drove it for 20 minutes and it started ticking again and even louder this time. It would also jerk on an incline at high speeds and seem to misfire on idle. Now, it’s back at the dealership and they’re recommending an engine replacement. Extended warranty contacted me directly saying that they’re not denying it but, they’re only going to pay the difference on the work that was done to doing an engine replacement. They’re placing fault on the dealership for not diagnosing the truck correctly which I completely agree. Dealership is saying the reason why it needs an engine replacement is because it spun a bearing. As of now, I just know they’re going back and forth and who should be liable. The dealership is trying to reach out to GM Corporate to see if they can use factory warranty because the truck only has 26k miles. What do you guys think ?

I have a 2016 BMW 328i with LCI brake lights. Recently my left brake light stopped working with no malfunction code. I’ve checked all fuses and found nothing wrong. Saw people saying it might be the connecter so, I switched it out and didn’t solve the issue. I have tried a different brake light unit and still nothing. Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas on what it could be? Thanks for the advice in advance!
