Okay I’m like 85% sure it’s a male, it’s still quite small only had them about a week, it was the last one in the tank!! Ideally I’d like to get a mate for them. Please let me know what you think. The most colorful shots are just from today!
Just hit the 24-hour mark with my new shipped little guy. Five days in transit, a leaking bag, and he’s fighting!
I just want to make sure I’m doing everything I can for my little guy after a rough shipment. It has been almost 24 hours since he arrived, and he was in transit for a total of 5 days.
When I opened the shipping box, the double bagging he was in looked like it had started to leak and was a bit deflated. Because it was essentially an "open" bag and he had been shipped for so long, I skipped the drip method and the floating bag adjustment to get him out of that water immediately.
I lowered the tank water level, got the heater going (78 degrees Fahrenheit) , and made sure all the parameters were spot (0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, etc) on (yes this is a cycled tank).The tank (5 gallons) has several live plants and Indian almond leaves to help him settle in.
I’ve also kept the lights completely off and haven't fed him yet to keep his stress low. Today, I added a little bit of aquarium salt as well.
He started out just laying on his side and barely getting around, but he is already moving around a lot more now!
Does it sound like I'm doing everything right to help him recover? Do we think he'll pull through? ❤️🩹
So I've been in forbearance for years.. and as of now it still says I'm good until next year 2027.. with all these court orders and changing coming do I need to prepare to do something different or is this a problem for future me of 2027? Thanks. It's confusing me because the Save is ending but it's still showing this? It's a fed loan and my servicer is aiddvantage.

Hi I was at a fair this past month and stumbled into the fish world and realized just how sad it is that goldfish get passed out like candy with no true home or education. All that being said, I have no where to upgrade to a proper sized tank for this one.. I need to rehome them and I’m based in Altamonte Springs, FL if anyone is interested in taking them on. The 5 gallon tank is no life this guy.
