My submission to this year's big jam. In Tearable Wizard, you play as a wizard who is hit with a cataclysmic threat but doesn't have any spells prepared (you were busy doing other things). So now you have to improvise by tearing the fabric of reality -- rip holes in your character sheet, hold the windows over a book page, and interpret what your spells do from there.
PWYW on itch, feedback is appreciated.
Has anyone landed on a good and consistent way to run FabUlt as a single-session commitment? Beyond something like Press Start.
To clarify, imagine:

My current group is welcoming a new PC, and we were looking at elemental damage types for creating inter-PC combos and strategies. In an effort to get a handle on all the options, I made this chart, and I'm sharing it here in case it's useful to others. Please let me know if I've missed something (like "actually X Class can deal Y damage"). Thanks!
EDIT: Someone pointed out to me that I missed Tinkerer-Alchemy's access to air damage. I can't replace the image in the post, just know that it should be there.
Just a heads up, if you don't have the Core Rulebook (digital) yet, it's available in one of DriveThruRPG's two Pride charity bundles this year. Pick up the Core Book while supporting a good cause!
Hi all!
Here is the latest (and possibly last) of the Classes I'm putting together for a larger project. This is the Weaver, who reads and manipulates chance to stack 'threads' on allies and enemies, to fuel a variety of effects called fates. This Class is relatively complicated and luck-based, so it will need a fair amount of playtesting and numbers-adjusting to get it in a good spot. Any and all feedback is appreciated!
Inspirations: The Three Fates (Greek myth); Sciel (Clair Obscur: Expedition 33); TSL (ttrpg, threads are partly inspired by this game's "strings").
(PS: I won't be putting this up on itch right away, but if you want a pdf copy of this Class in the meantime, let me know.)
This is my first attempt at a fishing mini-game for FabUlt. It's essentially Opposed Checks and competing Clocks, with a few extra bells and whistles: side-options alternative to filling a Clock, special fishing equipment for progression and customization, and a roll table of fish to catch.
A PDF version of this mini-game can be downloaded free/pwyw here. Its rules have undergone some playtesting, but not comprehensively so. Any feedback, especially on balance/difficulty, is appreciated. Thanks!
