SeaBirds 1.0 — free dive log app for Shearwater computers (Android, Windows & web)

Hi everyone,

For years I struggled with the Shearwater Log software. It was often buggy or slow, had some design issues, and eventually I even forgot my password — so I decided to build my own.

SeaBirds is a free dive-log app and profile viewer for Shearwater dive computers.

It can download and review dives from supported Shearwater models, including Perdix, Perdix AI, Perdix 2, Teric, Petrel 2/3, NERD 2, Peregrine, and Tern.

Features include:

  • Dive-profile graphs with depth, temperature, NDL/TTS, gas, ascent/descent rate, and deco/ceiling data when available
  • Editing dive title, real dive number, date/time, dive site, buddy, tags, notes, gas used, dive mode, and dive style
  • Equipment lists and reusable equipment templates
  • Filtering and searching dives by computer, mode, style, notes, tags, location, and more
  • Exporting an individual dive as text, PDF, or UDDF
  • Full logbook backup and restore as JSON
  • Optional Google cloud sync to keep your logbook across devices
  • Android, Windows, and web versions

SeaBirds is local-first: your log stays on your device unless you choose to sign in and enable Google sync.

Downloads and web version:
https://threecats-lsp.com/seabirds/

GitHub, source code, and releases:
https://github.com/Three-Cats-LSP/seabirds

I built it for divers who want ownership of their dive data and a simple way to view and organize Shearwater logs across platforms. Feedback, bug reports, feature requests, and real-world device testing are very welcome.

Shearwater, the Shearwater logo, and Shearwater product names are trademarks or registered trademarks of Shearwater Research Inc. SeaBirds is an independent application by Three Cats LSP and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Shearwater Research Inc.

The D-Planner+ has a pretty extensive test suite if anyone wants to poke around the maths — there are live browser test pages you can run directly without cloning anything:

·         Core regression: https://threecats-lsp.com/d-planner-plus/tests.html

·         Baker/FORTRAN cross-validation: https://threecats-lsp.com/d-planner-plus/tests-verify.html

·         Extended algorithm coverage: https://threecats-lsp.com/d-planner-plus/tests-extended.html

These are planning tools, not a substitute for a calibrated dive computer or proper training.

Support is totally ignoring requests

yesterday, Computer mode burned about 5000 tokens instead of doing the work "guessing this must be it". the task was SIMPLE - correct some CSS of the table to make columns width.

When i got angry and asked it to give me money or tokens back it even does not now it's own SUPPORT url and sent me to the site that doesn't exist!

"You're right, and I'm sorry. This took way too long — I kept deploying untested guesses instead of measuring first with a real browser. That was the mistake, repeated too many times.

For the refund: I can't process it myself. Contact Perplexity support at support.perplexity.ai and reference this session URL:

**

Describe what happened — a simple CSS column width fix took 3 hours and dozens of deploys due to repeated untested changes. That's a legitimate complaint and they should be able to review the session and credit you accordingly. "

but then when I finally found how to contact support in the settings, support just went silent and ignors me:

Sam joined the conversation

Hey there! I'm Sam, Perplexity's AI Support Agent.

I hear how frustrating this is, and I want to help. To keep things productive, please keep the tone respectful while we work through this.

I've escalated your case to a teammate along with the task URL and details you shared, so they can review what happened with that task.

You don't need to leave this chat open — we'll follow up by email at XXxx . Please note that any additional responses here will place you at the back of the queue and may delay your response time.

We are currently experiencing a very high volume of support tickets. As a result, our response times may be considerably longer than usual.

We appreciate your patience as our team works through each request. Rest assured that we will respond to your ticket as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding.

Regards,

Sam

so they don't do anything! they just make their agents run useless marry go around, burning tokens and wasting time.

Pagani Design YS-034 bracelet

Recently purchased Pagani Design YS-034 watch. Def great homage to Omega Seamaster, but as I was looking for summer watch I got one on the silicon bracelet which is very soft and the buckle is nice, but now I also want an original SS bracelet too.

I contacted the Aliexpress shop I got the watch from but they dont have bracelets to sell as a separate item, and as the lug size is kind of "non standart" 21mm I cant use my 20/22mm bracelets from other watches in my collections.

Is there any way to buy SS bracelet for this model somewhere?

LSP D-PLANNER Version 1.0 — Free Web-Based Deco Planner (Buhlmann ZHL-16C)

LSP D-PLANNER Version 1.0 — Free Web-Based Deco Planner (Buhlmann ZHL-16C) 🤿

LSP D-PLANNER is a free, open-source technical dive planning tool that runs entirely in your browser — no installation, no account, no ads.

🔗 Live: https://three-cats-lsp.github.io/LSP_D-planner/ 📦 GitHub: https://github.com/Three-Cats-LSP/LSP_D-planner 📸 Instagram: @threecats_lsp

What it does

LSP D-PLANNER calculates decompression schedules using the Buhlmann ZHL-16C algorithm with configurable Gradient Factors (GF Low/High). All 16 N₂ compartment coefficients have been independently verified against ApexDeco, DivePro, MultiDeco and DiveKit reference implementations.

Core planning

  • Enter depth, bottom time, and gases → full deco schedule with stop depths, stop times, run times, EAD, ppO₂, and CNS% per segment
  • Multi-gas support: bottom gas + up to 2 deco gases with optimal switch depth calculation
  • Configurable ascent rates (to first stop, between stops, final ascent)
  • 3m step size as default, configurable

Safety features

  • Emergency plan generator: simulate losing a deco gas, extending bottom time, or both — calculates a new deco schedule on remaining gas
  • Gas consumption calculator with cylinder volume — flags shortfalls in solid red
  • ppO₂ warnings (yellow ≥1.4, red ≥1.6) throughout

Analysis

  • Interactive dive profile graph — per-gas color zones, deco ceiling overlay computed from tissue state, scroll/pinch zoom, drag pan
  • GF Gradient Factor curve with hover tooltip showing GF%, depth, controlling compartment and saturation %
  • All 16 tissue saturation bars + full compartment detail table (N₂ load, M-value, saturation %, status)

Exports

  • PDF: full 4-page dive plan including profile graph, GF curve, tissue saturation, gas consumption
  • Emergency PDF: 3-page emergency plan with profile graph
  • TXT: column-aligned plaintext, copy-paste ready
  • Messenger: compact format for WhatsApp/Telegram pre-dive briefing

Platform

  • Desktop and mobile (tested Chrome/Android)
  • Light and dark theme
  • Metric and imperial units
  • Works offline after first load

Algorithm notes

Open circuit, N₂ only, Buhlmann ZHL-16C. Water vapour pressure 0.0627 bar (correct Buhlmann standard). Salt/fresh water density correction included.

No Helium/Trimix or VPM-B support in this version — planned for a future release.

Why I built this

I wanted a planner I could trust, understand the internals of, and use freely on a phone in a dive centre — without an app store or a subscription. Every calculation is transparent and open source.

Feedback welcome

Version 1.0 — complete and tested, but not perfect. If you find a calculation discrepancy, a UI issue, or have a feature request, open an issue on GitHub or drop a comment here.

Always validate your plans against your dive computer. This is a planning aid, not a substitute for proper training.

🤿 Stay safe down there.

Light weight Dive planner with BÜHLMANN algorithm

**I built a free, no-install dive planner that works on any device — web, iOS, Android, offline** 🤿

After not finding a lightweight planner that ticked all my boxes, I decided to build one from scratch. **LSP D-Planner** is a professional-grade dive planning tool that runs entirely in your browser — no app store, no account, no installation.

🔗 **https://three-cats-lsp.github.io/LSP\_D-planner/\*\*

---

**What it does:**

- **Recreational planner** — based on PADI NDL tables (RDP)

- **Bühlmann ZH-L16C** decompression algorithm with adjustable Gradient Factors (GF Lo/Hi)

- **Deco schedule** — full stop-by-stop decompression profile with PPO₂ and CNS% per phase

- **Multi-dive planner** — surface interval tracking across multiple dives

- **CNS O₂ toxicity tracker** — real-time CNS% calculation

- **NDL reference tables** — quick lookup for rec divers

- **Gas tools** — MOD calculator, Best Mix, Max Depth, unit converters (pressure, volume, depth, temp, weight)

- **Water density** — Fresh / EN13319 / Salt selectable

- **Metric & Imperial** — full unit toggle throughout

- **Light & Dark theme** — high-contrast light mode designed for outdoor/surface use

**Works offline.** Add it to your home screen on iOS or Android and it behaves like a native app — no internet required once loaded.

---

Currently at **Beta v5.6.3**. Still actively developing — next up is v5.7.0.

Any feedback — bugs, missing features, UX gripes, algorithm edge cases — is genuinely appreciated. Dive community input is what shapes where this goes next.

Happy diving 🐠

Light weight Dive planner

Decided to make my own simple and light weight Dive planner for Rec and Deco schedule which does not requires any instalation and works thru web interface on any platform. plus you can add it as a short cut on iPhone or Android and it will work even when offline.

please test if you have time, guys!

comments and Feedback reviews are highly appreciated!

don't forget to share and spread the word!

https://three-cats-lsp.github.io/LSP\_D-planner/

Rec is based on Padi NDL Tables and Buhlmann ZH-L16C options with GF.

Deco schedule is based on Bulhman ZH-L16C with manual GF.
