Few days ago, I noticed that tampermonkey script I usage to keep track of my Perplexity usage has stopped providing usage stats. Currently, all values are displaying as zeros. Vising endpoint that It likely uses (www.perplexity.ai/rest/rate-limit/all) confirms this.

Unrelated to the script, Perplexity no longer tells me which model was actually used to prepare an answer.

Additionally, it's no longer possible possible to remove an answer.

It appears these issue only affect web version. Everything works fine on phone version.

These features are kind of a big deal for me, yet I see no posts mention it. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I love reading Perplexity Discover's news articles in other languages. Suddenly, however, they are all English only. Any word on if this will be fixed?

I am a PRO user and I have never actually used Perplexity much. But today I open it and generate 1 single image for the first time and the moment I tried to generate second image, I got this following message:

"You've hit your monthly image generation limit, so I wasn't able to create the coloring-book version of the wetland/marsh delta aerial photo this time.

What Happened

The rocket launch pad coloring page generated successfully earlier, but this second request for the aerial wetland image hit your monthly image generation quota. The system indicates you can either wait a few days for the limit to reset, or upgrade to Pro or Max for a higher generation limit.

Next Steps

• Try again in a few days once your quota resets.
• Upgrade your subscription if you need to generate images more frequently going forward.

I'm not able to bypass this limit programmatically, so there isn't a workaround I can apply right now — just flagging it plainly rather than pretending the generation succeeded."

For first image I used GPT Tera 5.6 Tera and for the second image I used Claude Sonnet 5 for which I got the above message.

Control browser is now under Perplexity Computer, and requires credits to use. I hope this is a bug, otherwise, this defeats the purpose of comet.

I got perplexity enterprise pro from a startup credit, after a year they tried to bill me but the card declined, never used perplexity before this and I just claimed the account at the time, now when my card declined I cancelled my subscription but 2 days after this they charged 400$ from me, I tried contacting their support but all I got was our team will review this and come back, it has been 3 days but no response, no email, the contact chat doesn't even respond to me, i need the refund, what can i do?

Is it just me (bug?) or is Perplexity silently removing more and more features over the recent weeks/months?

First the social (reddit) search option gone. I know I can tell it to only search reddit but it doesn't feel the same. Now I noticed I can't select Gemini 3.1 Pro anymore which was the default model for me. 😐

Anyone got a suggestion what model to use instead? For me it was the best for searching and consulting. Whenever I tried any other model I either didn't find the results to be accurate or didn't like the style. I use it a lot for daily questions and product research and consulting.

Also maybe a good time to switch to competitors? Any advice there?

I tried Gemini (free) with the Pro model but somehow found it to be worse than Perplexity + Gemini 3.1 Pro.

I've noticed some changes with Perplexity over the past - almost - year. My subscription will be ending in a month or two and I'm wondering if I should be staying with Perplexity, or if another platform is more suited to my needs due to these recent changes.

I do a lot of historical research with Perplexity. It helps me fine tune my research targets. I also write blog entries with my research so I use Perplexity to first check for grammatical errors and then I ask it to check for historical accuracy.

I don't want it writing my entries for me. I need it for mostly research and checking my writing and helping to create a bibliography for my readers, as a specific example.

Is Perplexity the AI Platform for this job from this point forward? (due to my subscription coming to an end soon... not sure if I should re-up or look elsewhere).

I want a platform that does deep research with me, and that has a price range similar to Perplexity's rate per year. So like, $200 a year is what I think I paid.

I would also like the platform to create AI imagery, which I have come to understand Perplexity does, but I have yet to explore.

Would you folks have the time to suggest alternatives and to qualify your suggestions with a few statements about why it might better suit my needs than Perplexity?

Also, if Perplexity is the way to go, just say so. I need the best tool at the best price point to be my assistant through my research. I do not use the Computer option. I have only used the search and deep search options so far.

TBH I feel really pissed off because of my experience on Perplexity and this update doesn't solve any of my issues or does not add significant value for my Perplexity needs, so I react with dislike emoji.
