Kayoumini O4 bad video range?

Hi guys! I recently completed my first build, a kayoumini with DJI O4 (O3 lens mod).

It flies good, but one thing that bugs me is that it has noticeably less range that my Meteor75 pro 04. Is it really just an effect of having a carbon frame + battery placement? Or do you see any glaring issue with antenna placement?

Happy to hear your opinions or anecdotes!

Hi everyone, I'm in the process of building a digital (O4) kayoumini.

It's my first build, so I'd go straight with the designer recommendations, but I'm kinda scared about bending motor shaft with the recommended sizes (all 1,5mm shafts).

I see a lot of recommendations online praising the sturdiness and performance of rcinpower 1203 11500kv for digital kayous, also because it has a 2mm shaft, and I'd be tempted by it.

But what prop do you put on it? It seems like every three bladed props on the 2.5in/65 mm range only comes with 1.5mm hole.

Do you have any recommendation? Otherwise I think I will just go with the recommended VCI motors, even tho I read a lot of people saying they are not durable.

Oh, also I will try to use lava 2 580mah on it, because I already have 8 at home doing nothing, so the extra power from 1203 would be welcome.
