Name ONE instance comedy ruined a moment for you AND ONE instance comedy enhanced it. (In Anime)
Ruined it:
One Piece - Luffy sees Sabo. I was about ready to bawl my eyes out at this scene. ALL the feels were there. Then there’s Luffy’s face and completed shattered the emotions for me.
Enhanced it:
MHA - Lemillion at a loss of how to stop Shiggy. Then he pulls on a moment from his mentor and uses comedy to save the day, if only for a moment.

Which manga got the worst anime adaptation?
Black Butler
Okay, to be fair… they ran out of source material, but they just took it sooooo far left! Last half of season 1 and all of season 2 were just so nonsensical!
The show and manga stop matching up after the curry cook-off and don’t align again until Book of Circus.
But also to note: I stopped reading when the manga took an even sharper turn left. So much potential wasted imo.

Don’t get wrong, I may be late here. I am doing (yet another) rewatch. As someone that rewatches as much as me, I skip most intros these days. Restarted while munching, so I didn’t bother skipping this time.
Let’s do this.

Image 2: Season 8: Everyone reaching for Izuku. After years of inspiring others, he lived up to and exceeded the expectations set for him.
Image 3: (only there to show 1) his determination to win and 2) the words. “The day has come”
Now, everyone knows that PornoGraffiti did the intro from both season 1 and season 8. That in and of itself is amazing. But to bring it all back in like it does.
