I just recently went off of Exemestane and Tamoxifen for good! The doctor said even though I was diagnosed with aggressive ER+PR+ Stage II that spread to my blood vessels and I also had DCIS, he said 5 years out of the 10 is enough. I cannot take the horrific hot flashes, horrific sweats, mood swings, fogginess, confusion, joint pain, insomnia, etc. ANYMORE. My doctor gave me the choice and I said NO MORE of NO quality of life!!!! Question is, after 2 weeks I'm feeling depressed - is this normal? Thank you and every woman and man who had and still has breast cancer will know that you are in my thoughts!
