The start of a new hammock set for pet rats!

There are: 2 tunnels (2 different sizes), 2 tunnel pockets, 2 pockets, 2 Honeycomb, 2 bunk bed, 1 scrappy flat hammock, 1 12x18 flat, 1 15x15 flat, 1 basket hammock and 1 seamless cube. All different sizes and ALL are seamless/no raw edges at all.

Fabric is from Walmart, a both sides cotton.

Mods -

-Tunnels are modified to have sew-in boning in them, and i added iron-on interfacing

-Pocket - i made it into a full flat instead of having raw edges for safety. I made a large flat (the hole is on the short side), turn it right side out, top stitch the short sides only (hole is closed now) and follow the rest of the tutorial.

- Bunk beds and honeycomb - i added fleece in the middle of each layer so its less floppy and more absorbent. Just add the fleece layer on TOP and stitch around, and then turn it right side out between the desired layers

Tunnel pocket - no mods

Flats - no mods

Seamless cube - no mods

She also has all the tutorials for these hammocks, so i linked them here.

- Bucket hammock - made a different size (very short sides) and no V cutout. Didn't turn out as I wanted it to but looks okay.

- Scrappy flat - No mods

Still a lot to make for a full set, but thought i'd share the progress so far!

My Andy 🥰 Can't believe this sweet boy was a feeder once!

Bought him for a whopping $3 at a reptile expo - best decision I've made 🥰

Hello, I was wondering if it’s possible to care for a carpet beetle larvae as a pet! He currently is in a glass spice jar with mesh on the top. He is about 1mm long, and I would absolutely love to keep him and give him a good life! I know he is a pest and I have not seen any more bugs, but i am keeping an eye out. I was thinking of keeping him in this spice jar with food (wool, hair, insect legs, etc). I have a question about what substrate to use (if any) and if this enclosure is okay, or if something else is recommended. I know it’s a strange post, but I have already named him Spike and he is so cute. Thank you!
